The Andalusia of the North, really poor, really backwards.

Should be part of Portugal desu.

Nice people, nice landscape, nice culture.

Well, i agree with the poverty part.
However, i think they aren't as poor as they were in the past. I think they are recovering pretty well

filled with Greeks, like all Southern Europe

Their culture is really similiar with minho. Replace the "concertina" with bagpipes, draw trisquelas (tryskells) everywhere and there you go.

A comfy place

t. Galician

>A comfy place

I agree. Used to go there a lot when i was a kid and a teen (before my parents separated). I would buy all those small books about galician mythology and celtic stories, etc...

I still wear the tryskell i bought there kek

I like it, we are lucky to have them in spain

At least it was before you fucked things up

It should be portuguese.

>Galicia
rightful polish clay

I wish but perfidious castilla casted them away from us

Better alone than in bad company

>Portugal
>Bad company

However, desu i wouldn't mind that northern Portugal would join Galicia and get away from the evil people in Lisbon

Come back whenever you want, you're always welcome.
I should visit Portugal more often. Any recommended places on the north?

Well, in my opinion i think this places are worth a visit:

>Minho region (where i live)

Guimarães
Ponte de Lima
Braga
Barcelos
Vila nova de Cerveira\Caminha (it's in the minho frontier tough)

>Trás-os-montes:

Mirando do Douro
Chaves

(i dunno much more about this region tough)

Towards pure nature i would advise visiting the national park of Gerês

Which are your favourite galician towns\sites?

that sounds better

...

>Guimarães
>Ponte de Lima
>Braga
>Barcelos
Already been there, very nice place.

You should definitely visit Cies and Ons if you haven't already. There're usually a lot of people there during the summer, but beaches aren't nearly as overcrowded as they are in the mainland, and the wonderful sights and sense of tranquility make up for it.

;_;

Weirdest architecture in spain. Search for "feismo gallego" in google

Don't be sad.
We will always be the best celts. Also, that pic is just banter, galicia is a renowned celtic nation. They just banter about the fact that we don't have a celtic language.

I see. I've heard about those islands before and i've been hoping to go there soon.
Is it difficult to reach them? Do i have to make reservations or there are boats to take you there on a daily basis?

Some of that stuff reminds me of my region.

Some people admires those bizarro buildings, others hate it. I'm personally amazed at them

>because why they fuck not

I find this one incredibly aesthetic in a bizarro sense.
The mix of beauty and uglyness goes perfect

This is really fascinating

pretty

huh

No, Portugal should be part of Galiza.

Galiza existed before Portugal, and people in Galiza talked galician/"portuguese" before Portugal existed as a nation and most of it was still in hands of the mouros.

I think only north Portugal should be part of Galiza.
Douro river would be the frontier
