'Mirror mirror' by desire was a track released in 2009. It utilises a lot of synth, and delivers a deep message about vanity within its hip, almost 80s beat. The song repeatedly refers to "beautiful boys and beautiful girls", who then ask the mirror who the fairest of them all is. "It's us it's us it's us it's us it's us it's us" refers to the current generation, obsessed with their image, how they're perceived, and social media. The second half of the song focuses in on the not beautiful people, and the singer highlights how much harder it is being them, contrasting their tears with others eyes. Although less appreciated than other more well known tracks like 'Under your spell', 'mirror mirror' is no less meaningful.
