>nsbm

shit i put /nbbmn/ in the name field sorry im a little drunk

...

Na, this is the real one.

being a christian is just as cringey as being a "satanist", sorry bud. i know it's all the rage on Sup Forums nowadays to be brave and announce yourself as christians, but get over it.

kek

the second half of this album at least is really good
first half too
youtube.com/watch?v=uCjFjZQgles

What are you listening? How comfy are you?
>worked out for the first time in months today, so a bit sore
>decided weekend cocoon of no internet was enough
>went to downtown for an ethernet cable
>bought kvltass pirated merch
>just got back home
>coffee in my hand
>under my blanket, wearing my brand new BilosobemTM shirt
>Listening the new Saor
I'd rate this an 8/10

...

So, what's everyone's favorite three-album-streak in black metal? Doesn't have to be a trilogy per se, just three consecutive full length albums.

>inb4 nothing but Darkthrone and DsO
Anyway, pic related for me.

...

>listening to marduk while studying borkrunes
>room is warm and stuffy
5/10, Average day.

I guess this wasn't released consecutively

batlord - blood fire death
batlord - hammerheart
batlord - twilight of the gods

1349 - liberation
1349 - beyond the apocalypse
1349 - hellfire

>Listening to the froggo the riff master.
>It's a bit cold in here
>Dimmed the lights
4/10 confy points so far.

...

Night of Unholy Flames - Fist of the Northern Destroyer - Deliverers of Faith

Now that I think about it, ominous doctrines, obscure verses and bloodshed across the empyrean is a pretty godly streak

>Fist of the Northern Destroyer
I really have to listen to this album again and maybe check out some others too. So far the only Clandestine Blaze albums I'm familiar with are Fist of the Northern Destroyer and New Golgotha Rising (which was one of the best albums of last year, by the way).

one of my favorite streaks is ongoing:
Darkspace II
Darkspace III
Darkspace III I

never really thought about this but i guess just alda's whole 3 album discography

listening: youtube.com/watch?v=zbNbyLFuHh8
mood: stressing out over monograph due tomorrow (not even started yet); stressing over Julian Assange and Pizzagate
drinking: coffee

3/10 comfy

youtube.com/watch?v=4cbAbt5hHg0

>woke up early
>did a bunch of yardwork
>not so depressed today
>going to buy a drum kit tonight
>just sitting in silence right now
not extremely comfy but it's a good day

obvious answers are deathspell trinity, any variation of a blaze through to panzerfaust and the first 3 taake albums

i would add grand belial's key and angantyr's sejr -> haevn -> svig and maybe cultes des ghoules once i give their newest album a few more listens

i'd probably rather have nefarious dismal orations -> ominous doctrines -> obscure verses

Forgot how good this shit was fugg

Stealing this idea from another thread:

Post 11/10 moments on BM albums

Pic related, that riff half way through Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer that changes the momentum and pace of the track

Der Weg is single greatest bm song ever written prove me wrong

Last few threads have been shit so let's do this:

Post your favourite bm album cover. Pic related is mine.

...

anyone else in so deep they no longer have a frame of reference when people say """bad production""" or """"lo-fi""""

1st for french crust-nsbmgaze

its up there

...

THIS IS NOT BM

Is paysage the best atmoshit band? I cant really fint anyone that beats them when it comes to sheer cold atmospheric bm

fuck off

>them

no i just listened to an album with cell phone interference
youtu.be/02uRrQlJv1M?t=326
good album though

>just got back from work
>going to take a nap
>when I wake up I want to smoke and then play some oldschool runescape
>I feel like listening to Striborg, so I'll go through some of my favorites from him

Right now, I'm not too comfy. But I'm really looking forward to how comfy I will be. I've had a pretty shitty week/month/year/life, so I'm pretty excited to be able to kick back a bit.
Xasthur:
To Violate the Oblivious - Telepathic with the Deceased - Subliminal Genocide

man that literally sounds like my plans for later. OSRS, smoking, bed, and BM chilling. I do love Striborg but I'm not sure who I'll listen to today...maybe some Graveland, some dungeon synth, or i dunno really. I might work on some black noise stuff too. Right now I'm at my office hours and listening to Grinning Death's Head and playing age of ishtaria on my phone. Comfiness is maybe a 6

>prove me wrong
Here: youtube.com/watch?v=b-gBds6v6Ak

Not entirely sure about my favorite but could be pic related

this comment alone makes me comfy

>Got approved to be the supervisor of my neuropathological lab today, feeling fantastic
>Had a great dinner with my wife
>She's off to the opera
>Drinking my favourite tea
>Listening to Lunar Aurora - Hoagascht
>9/10 comfy

...

>smart, successful people on Sup Forums

calling bullshit on this

I'm going to believe him but I will say he sounds neutered and boring

>Lyrical themes:
>Personality disorders, Stations of sleep, Aging
riveting

>BM

That's nice dong

oh shit I guess it is technically. Never thought of dawnbringer as bm though

>smart, successful

what makes you think that? Also, I think quite a lot of people here are "smart" but lacking in other departments.

what makes me think what

Damn, you made me reconsider what I'll listen to, since Dungeon Synth and Runescape go hand in hand. I'll probably just go with how emotional I'm feeling at the time.

>I'm at my office hours and listening to Grinning Death's Head
Getting paid while listening to black metal sounds pretty nice. Have a comfy time tonight.
You commenting on your comfort makes me extra comfy.
I love the back cover of Hvis Lyset Tar Oss. Theodor Kittelsen is incredible, his art makes me feel so powerful.

That a person is smart or successful or both just because they can supervise a neuropathological lab.

how many non-norwegians have made the obligatory pilgrimage? I did January 2015, went to helvete (now neseblod) and had a good time

Oh I mean definitely not successful lmao. But that wasn't my sentiment as much as this guy's: anyway yeah I'm a bio grad student so I know there's definitely no money in what you're doing and it doesn't take a genius to do it

Then I hope you also understand how great I feel about it. anyways, I hope you'll be able to do something that satisfies you in the same way.

I do understand, of course. And yeah I hope for that also

Just won tickets to pic related.

Apart from Winterfylleth and Hecate Enthroned, any other bands worth seeing?

did you go in the basement?

yeah and took a photo next to the words "black metal". I bought my hvis lyset tar oss shirt there

holy shit that's an awful lineup

Hell

Checking out Lonesummer and holy shit this is awesome so far

Ignore the fact that I'm stupid-looking

>no corpsepaint
plen

Taake's first 3

sorry man but nice HH dubs

You look pose tee-bee-eigh

it's called having fun, relax

give us a pic of yourself then, trve kvlt master

...

ooh baby wanna fugg

nat soc african bm when?

this album has a really strange feel to it

only if you look like quothorn

it's plebbier version of this
even on the cover

I'm really partial to his split with Trist

Although it's not as 'black' as their earlier albums, I disagree

This album wasn't that good. It's just Behemoth pandering to the le mature metalhead market

> not Det Som Eng Gang Var

opinion
respected but I disagree
the album was fine, you tryhards just get butthurt at anything a non-metalhead can enjoy

stop

tourists leave

This is the correct choice, trips confirm.

Det Som Engang Var is the most beautiful song I've ever heard.

It's no secret. The current drummer of Bethlehem has been the session drummer for Silencer, and Nattramns vocals, while unique, are clearly oriented at the Dictius te Necare vocals

>Not getting mad when people like the wrong thing
Wow look at this fucking cuckbag

No youtube.com/watch?v=Czx-OIyrQwQ

good thing i'm not one of those then

Leave normie

...

...

>there is so much Black Metal
>so little spare time
>you can never listen to all of it
Music for this feel?

black metal

black metal

liturgy

...

oh shit this is dope. Lonesummer almost reminds of like Summer in my Veins but BM. It's just so bright and shimmering

fucking argh 10/10 track
