Prequels are misunderstood.

>unironically posting muh golden ratio

...

...

Misunderstood masterpeice

memes aside, this is so beautiful, i wanna cry

...

Holy fuck that is awesome. How the fuck did they do that?

That really is a good shot tho

I kek every time

...

highly recommend the movie. that scene is fucking amazing.

...

What film is it?

ahahahahahahaha that sloppy execution

meme technique not even done right, just wow

TAOJJBTCRF

assassination of jesse james by the coward robert ford...........insanely long name

What was the purpose

Damn long name. Thanks m8

The assassination of Richard Nicon by the Coward Gerald Ford

good1

>Saying a film has "good cinematography"

...

legitimately a good shot

4u

We need to talk about Kevin had beautiful cinematography.

What movie is that?

>long as hell

We are in an era of Sup Forums where movies that last less than 3 hours are considered 'Long as hell'

Don't mind that guy he's a homosensual

im not complaining for its length. i loved that it was long. i loved everything about that movie. But we live in a generation thats Od'ing on A.D.D. so its rare for a person to sit down like a normal human being and just watch a movie without getting distracted by snapchat or some shit. so i just felt like pointing that out

the first part of the film is shot in wide-angle nicely composed manner and when the characters arrive to Paris the cinematography changes

this is the transition point

really makes you think

Even Hitchcock made his around 2 hours.

...

...

>even Hitchcock
>Hitchcock
>implying anything he did besides his camera work was above average

...

...

have to agree on that

his films aged like fine milk

>Tommy in the black
>Mark in the red
>this is the last time they spoke as friends

Is the mirror supposed to be that obvious and if so, why aren't the characters in the foreground reflected?

...

Detachment.

I loved this movie, every shot was a joy to look at.

...

...

>blurry crap with more blurry crap double-exposed on it
What's even good about this shot?

deep

It's probably not a mirror, m8

It's a reflection.

...

...

Do you guys see? The lines? Perfect.

now I need to watch this

this

...

this is the time where capeshits lasts for more than two and an half hour

not a mirror, Andersson used a big set with a painted wall at the end

this one is not really a joy, mate

aesthetics senpai

Wow such a big-ass painting for one shot that will only work in that one angle. Nice (not being ironic)

Andersson does this kind of things. Every scene in his movies are created from zero and take months of work. Even the more complex one are done in hand made sets

...

a guy in the middle of the frame, cool

...

>a happy moment

this mustang?

Yes. I love when the character is right in the middle. It makes the frame hotter.

Haven't watched it yet. Might give it a look tonight.

...

do I need to draw red lines or you guys can figure it out ?

...

...

and this

It was all cinematography so I made it all red.

...

...perfect.
The ultimate frame of pure kino.

...

Tommy Wiseau is truly a genius visionary.

Hitchcock, the only film maker I know who openly admits to not giving a fuck about story or plot.

it rhymes

2h 40m isn't short

considering 90m is considered the rule.

w-what kino is this..?

...

Check out basically any french new-wave director, user.

Could we please analyze this kino?
