YOU KNOW NOTHING OF JAVERT
...
Javert is an idiot. His priorities are so messed up he spends his time trying to catch a man whom had served his time and was subsequently released.
Then basically offs himself over making a clerical mistake in his job.
i love her big mouth
anne was my favorite part of the movie

Absolutely hilarious.
Was his sister's child Cosette?
This thread randomly made me realise that Rorschach is a shitty modern rip-off of Javert, with the same rigid sense of morality and the suicide at the end to be able to leave the world a better place instead of simply giving up and changing his mind.
I haven't read/watched that since Watchmen first came out. Why did this thread suddenly make me make that connection.
>eatery
I bet you say "kino" unironically when referring to Tarantino flicks
A LOAF OF BREEEAD
Rorschach is more of a variation on the Question character, who was created by Steve Ditko. Ditko was an Objectivist to the bone, and had a very strict moral code and a black-and-white way of looking at the world. He infused all his characters with some strain of his philosophy. If you go back and look at some of the early Spider-Man issues you can see that Objectivist philosophy in some of Peter's thoughts and actions.
Isn't "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility" the absolute opposite of the Randian belief-system?
