Series 9 A Shit Edition.
Doctor Who General - /Who/
I don't know where I am.
First for shit thread.

Nabile (Manpreet Bachu): Danger. This is a warning. A warning to the whole world. You’re looking for WiFi. Sometimes you see something. A bit like this{holds up a sign}. Don’t click it. Do not click it. Once you’ve clicked it, they’re in your computer. They can see you. If they can see you, they might choose you. And if they do, you die. In 24 hours you’re dead. For a while. People’s souls are being uploaded to the internet. Some people get stuck. Their minds—their souls—trapped in the WiFi.
Echoing Voice: I don’t know where I am.
Nabile: Like echoes. Like ghosts. Sometimes you can hear their screams. On the radio. On the telly. On the net. This is real. This is not a hoax. Or a joke. Or a story. This is real and I know that. Because I don’t know where I am. Please. Please, if you can hear me. If you can hear this. I don’t know where I am.

Moffat literally shot the show point blank in the head.
Series 7 is comfy as shit.
To be fair, RTD already shot it in the dick and it was rolling around, slowly dying.
SERIES 9 WASN'T COLORFUL LIKE MY RTD WHO
SATURATION = BETTER
EVERYTHING NEEDS AN ORANGE PISS FILTER OR IT'S SHIT
Can somebody explain "Five Rounds Rapid" to me? I know where the phrase comes from but I never really understood why fandom latched onto that it so hard and how it became so iconic that it gets referenced everywhere. The line as such is not particularly funny, is it? I feel like i'm missing something.
Am I just a humorless gut?
I don't get it either, maybe american who fans caught onto it as an odd britishism and it became a meme
It's because of the implied ejaculation joke.
It's the casual way that the line was delivered that makes it funny. I guess it shows that The Brig is used to alien weirdness.
>all this shitposting
Thanks OP.
People just find Brigadier Badass in the scene I think.
Bait
>I want a divorce because I can't have children anymore
that's the exact opposite of comfy
So Big Finish got their contract extended HUZZAH!
However 9 years is a long time when you consider that Tom is 82,John Hurt is 76 Sylv and Colin are 72 And some of them have health issues. Even Peter will be 74 when this latest extension expires.
So how many Doctors will be left for BF to play with in 2025?
Rory should have given her the divorce desu senpai. He deserves so much better than that cunt.
Tennant, Smith, maybe McGann. Also those that come after Capaldi might still be around (That's if the show isn't cancelled during his run)
Matt and Capaldi will have joined them by then.
i'm a lot more worried over David Warner's health. Big Finish just wouldn't be the same without his occasional guest appearances
Hurt is based but I think I would've liked Warner better as the War doctor.
I fucking love that guy. As much as I dislike Bernice Summerfield, I'm looking forward to the new series just to hear some more of the best Third Dr.
It's because it's such an obviously futile gesture - Like using a catapult against a missile. It allso shows the Brigadier's attitude when completely out of his depth.
>I dislike Bernice Summerfield
Why?
Not trying to be edgy but I honestly think the next doctor to die will be Matt Smith. I don't know why but when I look at him I just don't think he will see his 50's.
I want to shoot people who cry about shit like 'Doctor Who is dead!' point blank in the head.
Any year all years. If you have literally ever said this, you do not understand Doctor Who.
Tbh I don't recall why exactly. I just don't like the character.
...
Into the Dalek was boring and probably the worst of Series 8 excluding the truly shit ones (KTM and ITFoTN).
Not that user but.... She's as boring as fuck now.
A minor character that doesn't really warrant 20 years of stories.
Same with Ace. All they have now is Mary Sueing them to fuck and meeting old monsters in weak parodies of classic Who.
AU Clara Rory audios when?
I've just rewatched Blink and I want Series 10 to have a final Weeping Angels story.
I liked ITD.And as pointless as ITFoTN was I still think it's charming and has some nice Doctor Moments.
The only story I truly hate from s8 was Gatiss Robin Hood shit.
I only really listened to her audios. Going places and digging up shit for Asshole Time Lord was pretty fun.
>final Weeping Angels story
No chance of that. The BBC/Writers are still milking Daleks and Cybermen after 50 years & the Angels are nuwho's #1 villain. They will be recycled forever.
Christ
>The only story I truly hate from s8 was Gatiss Robin Hood shit.
Funnily enough that's the only ep I really enjoyed.
But they don't do anything.
We know almost nothing about them and they change rules on a whim.
They look spooky but that's it.
I meant a final Moffat story.
When you look at Martha's run you can clearly see she's had the worst episodes of New Who.
Yep. Some Villains should be one shots the angels are a perfect example of that.
He probably would want to go out on a high in a story featuring is biggest success. Especially if Capaldi is leaving at the same time.
I also look forward to that day.
Gridlock,Human Nature /The Family Of Blood Utopia?
I'd say she has some great stories.
Eccleston will live to be 100. He will never reprise his role as the ninth Doctor.
Billie Piper will die of lung cancer in her 60s.
Tennant will become the next Pie Lord and die a fat old man.
Freema's obituary writer will forget to include the fact she was in Doctor Who at all.
Catherine Tate will live long enough so that she can play her Nan character without the need for old person makeup.
Matt Smith will OD next week.
Karen Gillan will live to be an old Scottish slag who hits on young male fans at conventions.
Arthur Darvill will be somebody's hipster grandfather.
Jenna Coleman gets a spinoff but dies of ovarian cancer before the last series can be wrapped.
Peter Capaldi will die during the recording of a Big Finish adventure titled Return to Vortis.
>Gridlock
>great stories
Really?
Worst run. Worst companion. And I mean badly written. Katarina is more memorable.
Freema also didn't have the acting weight to make a shitty cipher memorable, as Tate did with Donna.
Definitely agree. Blink was great. It should have ended there.
>Jenna Coleman gets a spinoff but dies of ovarian cancer before the last series can be wrapped.
>
>I'd say she has some great stories.
But SHE is forgettable in those. That's the point. You could substitute her for almost any companion. Dodo would fit in those stories.
>most capable nuWho companion
Can you elaborate on this, please?
Oh yeah I agree with that. Martha is easily the most forgettable companion of the last 10 years.
Even one off companions are more memorable.
But when it comes to the stories she was in I think Utopia and Family of Blood/Human Nature are amongst the best stuff nuwho has ever done.
Human Nature/Family of Blood and Blink are amongst the top 5 NuWho episodes ever so I'd say that's forgivable.
Also she had a few decent episodes (Smith and Jones, Utopia...).
ROSE WAS BLONDE WHAT A SURPRISE
Karen Gillan will live to be an old Scottish slag who hits on young male fans at conventions.
if only
Too bad you won't be young when she's old.
Worst run may also include individual good stories.
Worst RUN.
A doctor in her own right, she walked the earth like cain to save the world as well as the doctor. She was also tasked with babysitting the doctor when he was human. She's A#1 badass at UNIT too. On paper ticking boxes, she's probably the only one I'd want in a lifeboat with me.
literally I can't remember a thing Martha did in Utopia except smile while listening to the bug lady talking
lel
notice how all of this happened off screen
KISTAINE AND BELTONE SHAFE CANE
At least there will be no more waifuing going on for a few years with marouane fellaini aboard the TARDIS.
Fair enough.
All that sounds like a load of hysterical melodramatic bollocks, to me, rather than an expertly crafted character, but each to their own.
>"It's not all bad news!"
>Martha later learns the people she thought she helped saving died of her own hands because she basically sent them to their deaths
Isn't this VNA dark?
Not exactly a looker....
Now now now there, I agree Colin Baker isn't great on TV but stopping because of him? You missed some great McCoy.
>least favourite
>Vincent and the Doctor
Is the 5th season good? First episode in the doctor is goofy-random annoying and I liked the girl up until she asked to be returned by the morning because I foresaw that wedding dress 'last night of fun before i get married' cuckoldry 'it doesnt count cause hes an alien' vibe coming off it.
>Even Peter will be 74 when this latest extension expires.
You what? He will be 67. He's not THAT old.
It's pretty good but you won't enjoy it if you're still crying because Tennant's gone.
Christ...
Yes it's worth it. It's not a last night of fun, she's just running away from that wedding because she feels she's too young. Nothing else.
There's bad stories and there's Vincent and the Doctor that transcend conventional badness into realm of smarmy pretentious trash.
You sound like a cunt, instead of continuing to watch the best season of NuWho I recommend banging your head against a wall until unconscious.
He was probably talking about Davison, not Capaldi.
>marouane fellaini
I had to look him up kek
>I'd call you a genius if I wasn't in the room
>I'm brilliant
>I don't want to go
Fuck why did Ten have so much vanity issues? Moffat was right
>pretentious
You have 10 seconds to describe what the episode pretends to be that it isn't.
I was...
Hence why I put the qualifier "on paper;ticking boxes". RTD didn't do her character any favors.
Well I never compared her to a expertly crafted character or even a good one. Melodrama is RTD's wheelhouse.
>It's not a last night of fun, she's just running away from that wedding because she feels she's too young
m8 she tries to fuck the Doctor in her bedroom right next to her wedding dress on display only a few episodes later
...
pretentious
prJˈtɛnʃəs
adjective
attempting to impress by affecting greater importance or merit than is actually possessed.
Pretends to be an insigtful story about human condition, depression and art.
Sorry, took me more than 10 seconds, went to kitchen to grab some tea.
It's an 'endearing' foible. It doesn't quite work because everyone else on the show is infatuated with him as well. Including the writers.
Oh, right. When I hear Peter, I really only think of Capaldi now. Sorry.
kek
poor Davo
>My mom died. She used to say the sky is made of diamonds.
>Good for her! Off you go now.
Wow Martha's rude as fuck in Utopia.
Oh and the cheesy cringe-worthy close ups on the other woman's rotten teeth "LOOK SHE'S ONE OF THE MAN EATERS" and they do it like 3 or 4 times. Jesus Christ.
Poor Chantho she was so cute :(
I'm going to admit it, I'm going to be fapping to her a lot.
How does a Doctor Who episode pretend to be insightful?
>Oh and the cheesy cringe-worthy close ups on the other woman's rotten teeth "LOOK SHE'S ONE OF THE MAN EATERS" and they do it like 3 or 4 times. Jesus Christ.
She can talk.
How in the ever loving fuck are they crooked?
Is that right, Mongo? Is Mongo going to pull his little cock? Are you proud of that, Mongo, and wanted to tell us you will be fingering your little cocky, like a chimp?
I actually thought the actress was more attractive as an alien than she was as a human in turn left!
Pretty much, yes.
