Why is NCR so based bros?

>NCR
>not going solo or siding with House
ofc norway would choose the socialist faction

>NCR
literally the idiot's choice

NCR is the canon choice though

>Solo
Anarchy and oligarchy rule from the casino bosses
>House
Is alright, but it requires you to kill NCR soldiers, which is immoral

Those fuckers. You can even find them in commie blocks here, under your carpet sometimes.

One of our state calls the hawk wasps "the devil's horse".

>Anarchy and oligarchy rule from the casino bosses
>not exterminating every single employee of the Strip starting from those degenerate cannibals
I would rule the Mojave wasteland with the iron fist

...

There are smaller versions of those all over the country. They just eat grasshoppers and spiders. They didn't bother people

>ywn live in a bugless world
why do these things exist jesus christ

FUCK cazadores

Why are american nature shows so XXXTREME 2 DA MAX?

I thought Australia was the land of monsters, I'm thinking of going to the outback to watch the stars at night, any advice brehs?

>can't feel my arm
>that is the most intense pain I ever felt

bullshit, bugs that big don't exist in europe

Watch out for feral abos

NCR isn't socialist. They're more of a confederalist militaristic night-watchman republic.
House represents a capitalist oligarch corporatocracy.
Legion is a militaristic unitary fascist tribe.
Yes Man is whatever your self-imposed ideas are.

Just use yrden when they burrow out

Can't be worse than all the niggers here

To keep us in check. In a sad truth, their diseases prevent overpopulation.

Tru dat

There are no fully moral routes in New Vegas though, and that's what makes it so great.
I wonder if the average Sup Forums user would choose the Legion.

Don't worry, they eat them.

It's much better than the black and white relationship between Brotherhood of Steel and Enclave on 3.
Even the NCR can be seen as wrong, Even the Legion can be seen as appealing.

>I don't live on the same continent as this

Yeah this.
I wish Bethesda could just give the fallout franchise to Obsidian, Fallout 4 was such a disapointment.

Fallout 4 is great. New Vegas was complete garbage.

...

Haven't played 4, but c'mon now.

To overthrow mankind and create a better civilization.

bring some proofs to the table or get out of my face, Bruce

...

New Vegas is garbage because of the moronic plot and the fact that after beating the main quest, there's nothing to do, just a bunch of side quests that have no impact on anything. Besides, NV companions were shit, F4's companions are much better, they have their own quests, their own unique dialogs depending on the quest you're doing, etc. NV was also trash because it came with the yellow piss filter.

>he feels threatened by an animal a thousand times smaller than him

Lmao, what a pussy

>companions have their own quests
New Vegas did this first, have you even played it?
>NV was also trash because it came with the yellow piss filter
>Playing vanilla fallout
>Playing fallout on consoles

Fallout 4's story is fucking garbage compared to New Vegas

New Vegas was structured horribly in comparison to 3. The game was too easy and short if you had a high Luck build from the start. All you would have to do is go to the Freeside casino, win the jackpot on the slot machines, and you would have enough cash to get into the Strip to meet House and Benny in an hour or less. At least 3 forced you in a linear path within an open world on the search for your missing dad, making it somewhat of a lengthier game, despite not having factions. You could also continue after the end with the Broken Steel DLC.

In the UK we have these, having killed off EVERYTHING that might remotely harm us centuries ago.

Lmao dude wtf can a small animal do to you right? Just grab it.

South America has them too.

It's an RPG, freedom of choice is a good thing.
I doubt many players did the high luck/casino trick on their first playtrough anyways.

is this the same russian that has said rudeling before or is it just a general russian thing?

>New Vegas did this first, have you even played it?
They do, but they're all linear and you get the character's main quest once you encounter them, after that it's over. In F4, the quest may or may not get triggered.
>Fallout 4's story is fucking garbage
You need to specify what you mean exactly, does that idea of cryogenic stasis really that retarded? Because after you exit the Vault, it depends on the player to shape the story however you want and in F4, you can do whatever you want, also coupling with Nuka World you can be as evil as you want.

Since I knew the game would have a gambling mechanic, I had Luck at 9 and it ruined it for me. NV would be great if they removed buying your way into the Strip. That was Obsidian's mistake.

Fallout 4 has the settlement building feature. That alone is worth it.

It received a major boost with the Vault Tec Workshop DLC. Now you can literally build your own vault.

Might as well play Minecraft.

A real American hero.

The choices in New Vegas was hard, and didn't force you to be either jesus christ or pure fucking evil like in the Bethesda ones, it's way more nuanced, people are still discussing what the best choice in NV is today.

Personally I hated the voiced character in 4, because it restricts the speech options too much, it only gives the illusion of choice while just being pretty much the same.

They removed a bunch of RPG elements in general.

So yeah Fallout 4 is a pretty good exploration shooter, but not a good RPG.

It comes down to opinions I guess.

They have attention span of a puppy so without turning every show into action or horror movie they lose interest after 10 minutes.

There's nothing wrong with dialog in FO4 other than apparently being hated just because it's a radial. IIRC even 3 and NV had on average 3-4 options in any given dialog, they simply got rid of verbosity which isn't necessarily bad.

I chose Legion even though I dislike Sup Forums

How much are you getting paid

Not really

you live on Eurasian continent to, you dumb shit

Tarantula Hawk wasp. Sting said to be as painful as mainlining pure acid.

15 bottle caps per post.
In FO4 you can get the same result by simply going a few levels deep into your chosen dialog on the radial.

[tips fedora]

>the sting—particularly that of P. grossa—is among the most painful of all insects...One researcher described the pain as "…immediate, excruciating, unrelenting pain that simply shuts down one's ability to do anything, except scream. Mental discipline simply does not work in these situations."
How about nope

It has to do more with distancing from soft spoken British documentaries with Attenborough narration. American political/history documentaries are much better.

These are rare as fuck. I have only seen one once and it was in the middle of the desert

>Legion can be seen as appealing
Legion could be seen as appealing if there was literally nothing else around than raiders.
On that note, even fucking Great Khans are a better faction than legion.

Legion is what you get when you take a Sup Forums autist and give him magical plot powers over a band of thugs.

>socialist
Read the dev notes. Tandi was basically Hillary Clinton with no term limits and the president reigning over NCR is a Bob Dole/ Bush Jr. amalgam.

I think I've heard that the original plan was a more justified and fleshed out legion, but they had to scrap it to make the release date.

If they were made less edgy then it would be a viable choice.

If you chose to skip content that's on you, not on the game. You should want to explore, meet characters, do quests and find items, not be forced to.
As an example of perfect design on this aspect is Dark Souls, where they don't force you to do anything, they don't even give you an objective or a destination, you go figure it out and have fun.

You chose to meta game your playthrough in the shittiest possible way and intentionally skipped most of the content. You have no one to blame but yourself.

you can do that easily no matter how you play though
>high sneak gets you past the Deathclaws, Cazadors, and Fiends literally right at the beginning, then lets you steal all the shit from the Silver Rush and sell it to Gun Runners so you can get into The Strip at level 2 or 3
>high speech lets you convince Mick to forge you a passport into The Strip
>high science lets you bypass the Securiton guarding the door and get into The Strip without caps or a passport

If you put all of your points into one specific thing you can break the game just like you can break real life by being amazing at one specific thing. That's how a good RPG is supposed to work.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT THATS TERROR IN A BUGS BODY.

How many people actually do the side quests? I can agree with that if it's done right. MGSV was an open world game but those side missions felt tedious and pointless. The story missions were the best part and even that was severely lacking. Now compare it to MGS3 which was strictly linear in an slightly more open environment, and it's still considered one of the greats today. Condensed plot driven linear game > freedom of choice sandbox game.

>No true good end for Freeside
House is so paradoxical
>NCR is his best customer
>Kills the Kings if they work with the NCR
>Does nothing to mitigate violence in Freeside, which is so dangerous that you need a bodyguard to get through
The house ending always smelled unfinished to me.

I do everything in every single game I play.

I think they had something like 8-9 months to compete the game

i am from amazon and i can't believe you are scared from this little bug

MGS isn't an RPG though, so the comparison doesn't work at all.
The sidequests in New Vegas are mostly very good, I do as many as I can when I play trough it.

>Ireland

where you're an expert where it comes to terror

Sometimes I wonder who are my brothers and sisters browsing this chinese cartoons forum. Probably I have met some in the street, is just that I don't imagine the average panamenian browsing 4chen

Yeah, the lack of Legion content always gets singled out but lots of things stick out to me that show the game was really rushed.
>Two endings are basically the same minus one character
>Only two ways to take the dam (Legion or not Legion)
>That one Brotherhood scientist that goes from clean, crisp professional audio quality to coat closet phone recording in the middle of E-DE my love
It's strange that the game is as good as it is, considering.

Yeah but to be fair they were cribbing their notes from Van Buren hard. A game that while not released had a pretty big development cycle.

...

Van buren was cancelled like a decade earlier.

His ending was the safest for New Vegas, since all those police robots were deployed in Freeside. Rewatch it again.

But they still made it too easy by paying your way to get in when it's so much easier to get bottlecaps. They could have removed the entrance fee or set it at a much higher price to adjust for that so you could enter the Strip much later in the game as it was intended. Imagine how much worse 3 would be if there was a way to get to your dad at the very start of the game.

>it's the players fault for poor game design when the area intended to be exclusive and accessible towards the end can be accessed near the start
