I remember it being so much better when I was a kid, then I decided to rewatch it recently and couldn't believe I was watching the same movie. It was goofy as fuck.

Saw it in the drive-in when it came out all those years ago. It's a real shame it wasn't the first gen Power Rangers.

It was garbage, just like that whole franchise. It only appealed to the slow kids of that generation.

I don't know what is more astounding... the fact that people in the West still won't shut the fuck up about this trash or that nips have shit out about six hundred seasons of it. What the fuck is the draw here?

I went back and watched some episodes a little while ago, and you know what? For a show that aired every day, the martial arts was not terrible.

The acting, the plots, it was all corny, but what kid fucking cared when you could watch people beating the shit out of each other every day?

It's solid for what it is. The production was good except for the CGI zords, the plot was very typical Power Rangers, and the scale was appropriately larger.

The second one was hot garbage.

That was the original filming. I think the actress had some disputes so she was recast and they cut the alien things.

The CG was outrageously bad, especially considering this came out in 1995.

On the one hand it came out at about the same time as Jurassic Park. On the other hand Jurassic Park had literally 30x the budget. So they did pretty well with what they had.
