Was this the most tryhard movie in recent cinema history?

so it's basically Sup Forums The Movie?

I agree BvS was better.

Who gives a fuck about box office or profits.

yes. youtube.com/watch?v=ekbrxicd548

Anyone who thought the movie was "try hard" is just looking for reasons to hate it. Wade only really broke the 4th wall twice and it overall captured Deadpool enough to be a good origin story. If you thought the sex scenes/jokes were tryhard then you need to seriously get over your autism, because they weren't the whole movie.

>they werent the whole movie

literally every single line of ryan reynolds in this movie was a sarcastic attempt at a joke. i dont think he had a serious line in the entire thing

That's basically Deadpool's gimmick.

Your thread is the most tryhard thread within hours, OP

OMG an R-rated superhero movie with the main character saying the f word a whole lot. I really appealed to my mischievous and dark sense of humor.

"You look like Freddy Kruger fucked a piece of fried chicken!" BWAHAHAHAHA!! So fucking funny!

"Maybe if we could afford more characters..." OMG THEY DID NOT JUST GO THERE!

"Donkey balls fuckshit fuck fuck fuck!" ENTIRE THEATRE OF NERDS ERUPTS IN LAUGHTER.

I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD THAT I MISSED HALF OF THE JOKES!

Stupid movie for stupid assholes.

>Stupid movie for stupid assholes.

I take it you enjoyed the film, then.

>literally opening credits of the movie
>instead of naming the actors, director, etc
>it says SOME RICH ASSHOLE and A BRITISH VILLAIN and A CGI MONSTER and has a copy of ryan reynolds sexiest man alive magazine

hahah so fucking funny XDXDXDXD!

>movie
>cinema

Allow me to rephrase for you:
>Was this the most tryhard joint in recent Motion Picture history?

Everyone's got a gimmick now.

>Deadpool will get a sequel
>Dredd won't
And it will be hailed as revolutionary R rated comicbook movie.

>>literally opening credits of the movie
>>instead of naming the actors, director, etc
>>it says SOME RICH ASSHOLE and A BRITISH VILLAIN and A CGI MONSTER and has a copy of ryan reynolds sexiest man alive magazine

Holy shit is this true? Everyone who enjoyed that crap should be gassed.

ITT
A group of ignorant morons trying to fit in who never read a Deadpool comic but think their opinion on how the movie should have been made really matters.

Go back to your black and white foreign films pretentious Sup Forums dweebs you missed the whole Deadpool comic to movie translation.

...

No wonder Sup Forums (reddit's autistic twin brother) loved it

whats wrong with this?

>>/hot topic/

Ambush Bug>>>>>>>>Deadpool

>I never read a deadpool comic and was shocked at this character

there was nothing tryhard. they even toned him down

literally quips: the movie

bravo, marvel

but that was exactly how they sold it

>not knowing what Deadpool is about
The comics try much harder. The movie was at least bearable.

>it's popular and I must hate it

fucking tumblrtards

Thats like watching Schindlers List and complaining that the movie is
>muh holocaust

yeah, no shit nigger. What kind of stupid criticism is that?

Seriously, there are Deadpool bits lifted straight from Ambush Bug.

In a better universe WB would make a mid-budget "Lobo & Ambush Bug" movie in response. Unfortunately they'd probably still fuck it up in that universe too.

Literally who?

Ambush Bug

LITERALLY WHO?

>2008
> Literally who?

AMBUSH BUG!

>iron man
>literally who
He was featured in cartoons and shit nigga. Literally no one knows who ambush bug is.

google

It's the capeshit equivalent of Ted.
>LOL DA SUPERHERO SAID A BAD WORD AND IS THINKING WHAT WE ALL THINK!

You will see a repeat of this with the Seth Rogen Dude Food Lmao movie. Normies love crude acting comic and cartoon characters.

Mattel should sue.

so you dont like "bad words" or what is your criticism here?

Lobo and Ambush Bug don't have normie appeal. It's not the 90s any more.

CHIMICHANGA LOL

Not that guy, I have no problem with bad words but don't find them inherently funny.

Deadpool is a solid 9/10.
I took my wife and her son to see it when it was in theaters & we all loved it.

well nobody thinks that. I guess not even the writers sat there and thought "they will laugh their asses off, when he says asshole"

Make mine Marvel.

Cursing is needed to express certain emotion and for comic delivery.

Deadpool and Ted are forced edgy humour because it's ever so funny to see something we grew up playing with gone bad.

But the MCU lineup (characters from the 60s) does?

Ambush Bug was just in the highest grossing R-rated movie of all time. You may have even heard of it: Deadpool.

Is this one of the most tryhard posts in the catalog ?

>trying to fit in by repeating an opinion and using as many buzzwords as possible

You realize that Iron Man was Marvel Studios - nay, Paramount - making do? Fox had X-Men and Fantastic Four while Sony had Spider-man. IOW they already had the noteworthy shit. If Iron Man was so noteworthy, so culturally relevant, he would have been snatched up before there was an MCU.
