Em - G - D - A

>Em - G - D - A

how can other progressions even compete?

wait guys help
what key or mode is that progression in

>E - G#m - C#m - A

D major? I'm not good at this shit

Why is F chord so hard to play on guitar

just play the four high strings

D major

or E minor with a major 4th

or G with a major 2nd

probably just D major tho

anyone know any good tricks to playing B/Bm bar chords?

t. cowboy chord hack

E dorian, because Em is emphasized as a tonic in this progression.

Dorian:
i - Em
ii - F#m
III - G
IV - A
v - Bm
vib5 - C#mb5
VII - D

Which is exactly the same chords as in D major, only that the tonic starts at the second degree i.e. E

Practise

I can play it no problem but that way has always been harder

If you're self taught don't use all 4 fingers like some diagrams tell you. Use only your 1st and 3rd fingers. Also, just practice a song that has a lot of E-Position Bar Chords to A-Position Bar chords (Kim Smoltz by Ween is a good practice song).

Best chord progression coming through

C-G-C-F-Dm-C#/Dm-Dm-G-C-B/C-Bb-A-Dm-C-C/B-G

Alternatively
C-G-C-F-Am-Em-Am-Gm7-Dm-G-F-Em-Dm

Oh my god you people are pathetic

Only person with a brain in this thread

USE YOUR THUMB

>iktf
I can play it now, but its going to take ages to get my changes fast enough

this. i'm actually pretty close but getting the middle finger down in time is the real final boss

yep, I cringed

Rekt

Name 3 songs that do this.

to play f I use my 1st finger to bar on the e and B strings, 2nd on G, 3rd and 4th on D and A, and thumb to play the f on E

Much easier than barring

plus it also allows to switch to a c chord much faster

7th fret so simple

Why are you so bad at playing guitar?
