My new song is coming along nice, I'm trying out different chord progressions and effects plus working on making some half decent lyrics for a change (it will also be my first vocal song since the start of the year).

forgot to say "rec" after the quotes. those are recs.
I'm just on the first track, but your vocals honestly sound like a cartoon character. I would focus more on the volume than making that comical gutteral noise. The instrumentals are the perfect amount of garage, the record has a warm sound to it that's really exemplified by the live-esque mixing. Was this recorded with one mic or something?
This sounds like distortion and more distortion. Experiment a bit more with layering different tones on each other, loudness isn't that interesting.
Instrumentals were recorded with 2 mics, one pointing at the amps, one near the drums. Vocals recorded later in same basement. I'm not making a noise, I'm just shouting in my regular voice
appreciate you checking it out, could you tell me what you think about 8:10 and beyond of trance demon?

half way through diary on copy. palenovember approves very m u c h
Well I'm sorry. Maybe don't chainsmoke like 18 cigarettes before recording
Oh man this is interesting. There's a fine line between kitchy fl studio presets and genuine retro sound, and I think you've made it. Its like a hellish hallucinatory rave in the middle of the desert. Great choice of cover art too.
tell palenovember I said thanks

hello
Great music:
Tanks a lot man I really appreciate it! Forgot to mentionned that it was a live recording session
First track was a bit odd, the gameboy noises were way louder than anything else. Other stuff is really surprisingly high fidelity for the platform you're posting on, wasn't really expecting that. Maybe pipe down on the instrument panning a bit.
Yeah that makes sense. Good work.

yes
amazing as always
really good. not quite what i was expecting. the nosiness is fucking sublime.
yeah i thought the first song turned out whack as well - the volume for that game boy channel was turned up too high.
Thank you so much for listening!

I'm currently working on a psychedelic noise album, with lots of stoner solos and overwhelming shit like Masonna or Les Rallizes Dénudés.
I'm currently out of ideas for songs, and 4 tracks are not enough, I don't want to scrap this.

Believe me I have thought about reasonable ways to do a physical release for something that's 13 hrs long but that would end up being like Merzbox. Volume 3 is coming out digitally on 1/1/17 it's about 5-6 hours long so it's a bit more digestible

this one's kind of in the water... unless you're trying to market your music for fish or divers i don't think it'll work.

I bought some random hand made VHS tapes at a thrift store and they were just a guy talking nonsense for like 30 minutes. Turns out they were produced by a cult in Wisconsin. I used samples from the VHS tapes to make an experimental concept beat tape (along with other random cassette samples, also looted from the thrift store). Lemme know what y'all think
