Dexter was hard to put down, watch only season 1 if your curious since its self contained and is based off the book Darkly Dreaming Dexter, which perfectly encompasses what the character is. A beginning, middle and end that will satisfy you. But, If you decide to watch all the seasons know that they get progressively worse after season 4, and has one of the most dissapointing endings in tv history.

I was also hooked up on Merlin, which is objectively meh to awful SJW ridden BBC bullshit, but its comfty, like super comfty.
I actually slowly drifted from dexter and ended up completely stopping around season 3, idk why exactly but it just couldn't keep me watching. Very good show though, first seasons were great.
