My new song is coming along nice, I'm trying out different chord progressions and effects plus working on making some half decent lyrics for a change (it will also be my first vocal song since the start of the year). I also found a trove of unreleased material so that might appear on my new album.

I'm currently working on a psychedelic noise album, with lots of stoner solos and overwhelming shit like Masonna or Les Rallizes Dénudés, but I need more song ideas for that first.

This is great, it seems very low effort but you make the simplicity of it work. I like the noise/new age sound a lot, the noise parts were pretty tinny and hard to take, but I assume thats intentional.

The thing coming on 12/1 is a 'deluxe' version of the newest album Any Gracious Heart. I reconfigured the track listing to one I think works better as an album overall. It's not much on the surface - but the download also includes 20 bonus tracks. Which is a lot! Thanks for listening.
Mreat Gusic:
hello
wish he would come back
>experimental noisy microhouse. weird samples. new songs added
thanks! A lot of it was improvised and done on-the-spot, just me fiddling with a keyboard and effects, and yes, the noise is supposed to be kind of ear-wrenching at points but the idea is to have the softer, more ambient parts as a meditative reprieve, I like playing with extreme dynamics like that.
I put on "My Lady" because the album art is seriously great, and I love the deep, rumbling, punishing sounds as they fade into soft, smooth ambient.

Thanks, I'm inspired very visually, so you can pretty much thank James Mcneil Whistler for painting that artwork in 1905 and inspiring the entirety of the album.

Enjoying this, autumm is my favorite season, sometimes I wish the vocals were a bit louder on the mix, but I also think they feel more rambling-like quiet. It makes me think about the predominance of neutrality as a feeling, against the harsh mood swings we often encounter.

Lol well thankfully a few (14 to be precise) survived out of the 30~ tracks on that computer but only as a CD that I ripped onto my xbox 360 hard-drive seven years ago. I lost the CD way back but if I ever find a way to get those tracks up I'll let you know

clicked because 'techno interests me'. listened to "impetus", it was pretty standard electronic music. not for me, just too generic and wasn't really doing anything interesting or going in any promising directions. it is very well made, though, so keep at it.
don't know if artist jerking themselves off to get attention or someone actually thinks because something is good it *has* to be released by a label
which one was the goat

REMINDER. in this time period it is rarely a good idea to sign your music over to a label. Don't do it kids! They will take your lifeblood make you tour until you age 5 years overnight, in return you get chump change and forever be known as the guy who's music was in a car commercial.
more recs
I don't know if this was intentional but the first track is so off kilter that it makes me feel sick. this whole thing is dripping with so much irony that its almost offensive.
I love your vocalist! Almost a shame he's so quiet in the mix. Aesthetic decisions I guess.
Only one thing, when you're building the instrumentals up track by track it's usually good to introduce the tracks a beat or two before the measure starts, just to make it feel less blocky. The first track on this album sounds like different configurations of tracks played in succession, rather than an ebbing flowing piece. Beautiful production though.

>This would be the soundtrack to Freddie Mercury's fever dreams. This is what came from drugged out 70s musicians having babies together.
>Nice Flaming Lips meets Japanese video games intro. Lyrics are bad. They feel like they were written in about her language and then run through Google translator. Those lyrics are so spectacularly bad, I am forced to mention them again. Her singing isn't good either.
