Cultural modern fashion

Why isn't this a thing? Fuck globalism

Well as I see Japan is one of the few country to still wear their traditional clothes from time to time

Good thread

I dare you to wear that in public.

We do on special occasions. At least a couple of times a year. They're not that cool, though.

Arabs do it too.

Looks cool. Modernisation of national wear will occure in our times I think.

For example my pic would look nice, if it was made like business shirt.

>They're not that cool, though.
Why? It looks cute :3
looks feminine

>looks feminine
Because of color and ornament?

Nah, but it also had some effects, perhaps
this one looks too... peasant

Many people here do wear traditional national wear casually, really common to see young peeps wearing paddy caps etc

you gonn have to make that kind of clothing domestically and japanese labor cost aint cheap

québecois clothes I guess

I would unironically wear pic1

>I dare you to wear that in public.
There are many people in Japan wearing fashion like that in public

Well you're retarded then

I'm jealous of countries like Iran. They can still dress like Iranians and nobody cares.

It seems most of the world has to dress like English men.

Quality things aren't cheap anywhere.

What do you think of Kadyrovs chokha-hoody?

Dont talk to me or my son ever again

I saw a normie friend share a post from an import company on Facebook selling sweaters like these, I was interested but I didn't want to turn hipster

This is an awesome thing.
Would actually consider paying attention to fashion if the guys modeling clothes marketed at me didn't pose like effeminate fruitcakes half the time.

>I dare you to wear that in public.
Wouldn't be as ridiculous as other clothing choices.

In Japan there is no discernible border between costume and fashion. Whereas Western style hinges upon looking like something without looking like anything, Japanese subcultures aim to get "the look" down to a T, whether that be biker, hip-hop, terrorist, whatever.

which is why traditional clothing will never be mainstream again

I like the old style cutlery you boys got there

>people don't unironically wear traditional clothing where he lives

yeah... We don't have much traditional clothes to modernize

>biker, hip-hop, terrorist
How about oompa loompas

>paddy cap
>traditional
I'm sorry lad, but...

It's better to have a few good pieces of clothing than a bunch of made in Bangladesh crap.

...

Maybe if you have a time machine.

Do you and your friends still dress like this?

I would love if this was modernized somehow and became typical streetwear, our lives need more color.

It's shit

>+ moon and crescent
even more shit

I mean really, look at the third picture in OP's image.

The guy is daintily holding onto the jacket, or whatever it is. His legs are so close together that he looks small af, and he is staring off into the distance listfully.
This shit isn't masculine. It's just a copy paste of the shit female models do.
It's not marketing for men, it's marketing for women who will buy shit for men.

i respect that. it's just that i'd prefer to have a few pieces of bangladesh crap. not much of a /fa/ personally.

I just found the style worth mentioning, I didn't imply that it is still popular.

Id love it if people still dressed up fancy. I'd love it if 1810s era clothing like peacoats were traditional for special events or whatever. Slightly jelly that scots get kilts

You didn't answer my question senpai

If I go to your country can I find bros to gabber all night with

peacoats are wool sailor's jackets. Maybe you meant something else?

This is still really common in the American West

Jeans and flannel are tradition in america

You're right, I meant frock coats, as well as a whole ensemble like this

No, definitely not.
Except when there is some 90's themed party, then people still manage to find those clothes in the back of some closet or at some market.

Sad!

...

Go into politics and try to make a nice livable, more or less democratic version of hyperisolationist beszkorea then.

...

>implying people wear Gaelic dress at all
lmao

We're all economically intertwined and fashion is just a scam for keeping an industry moving and keeping people buying shit. If you want this shit then try start it up, there are plenty of small fashion outlets that deviate quite a lot from the norm, though they are almost always expensive as fuck. It will likely never take off, european clothing of the time became deeply embedded in the world. I think because Britain and other European empires left such a lasting cultural impact on the entirety of the world, typical modern clothing just continued on from the set clothing standards. If at the time just before the rise of technology and globalisation, nations from other regions were the most powerful empires and prolific in altering cultures of places, then we'd have different common clothing, perhaps without those empires being so prolific in alter cultures and spreading theirs, we would at least have some more variety, maybe regional (in regards to world) clothing. Still, clothing has kind of moved on and done it's own thing collectively, there will never be cultural modern clothing though. Unfortunately just by having internet we stop drifting apart and developing in different ways.

Fuck Qing Dynasty
Fuck Communism

I'm truly sorry for how chucked China is, and we only invaded

>not going to your office with your nips showing

Traditional american clothing

FUCK YOU YOU NIGGER WEEBS SUITS ARE TRADITIONAL EUROPEAN FASHION YOU BRAINWASHED KIKES

The Arabs do it to, and apparently "Hanfu" is making a comeback in China.

too many traditional clothes, here i made a this to show some of the female traditional clothes of the different regions of Spain.
The traditional clothes are for traditional festivals, we prefer to wear what everybody wear

>tfw no genuine representative democracy in China
>tfw we let them down because we were too busy giving money to Europeans

Feels bad

I'm not sure how "traditional" it is, but I've only ever seen Cubans wearing this type of shirt.

Sometimes I lament the fact that cultural folk costumes are in decline.
Then I see Staphorsters looking like this.

I don't want to be a faggot wearing a Kimono, I wanna be a cowboy

the name is guayabera, i have one in home

at home*

t-thanks

Kinda, yeah... That is a cartoonized version of

You mean frock coats and they are traditional for special events like Funerals, weddings, Royal ascot and other royal events
Look up white-tie dresscode

People wear our "traditional clothes" every day

Yeah, I covered the mistake here
Weddings and funerals don't happen often enough desu

t-shirt and jeans are traditional american clothing, so i'm good

w2c the one on the left

Left and right are gay.

this cunt wrote this at like 3 in the morning

I really like the right one, it looks futuristic somehow.

...

looks like a jedi

>"gürcü traditional clothes" are just copied circassian traditional clothes
wow, really fires up my neurons that

>tfw Antonio Banderas is going to bring capes back into fashion

God speed Antonio

Looks really nice.

Modern Gaucho.

Not at all.

Not an argument

EYO HOL UP

how are we going to modernize this now?

Arabs are based desu

They can wear thier clothing's without looking like an absolute autist

The Chokha belongs to all Caucasians.

Wish we still worse these babies

wore* oops

I too wish I wore a size 2 shoe

I wear this type of medievalish shirt sometimes

10/10
would settle down in Argentina if I was a wanted war criminal

It's a guayabera, it's worn in the Spanish speaking caribbean all the time

looks breezily and comfy. Is worn in Mexico's East coast as well?

The same way Mahmut II did

Chic as fuck

I've seen it been worn in the south, it's not really that wierd though, during summer I see a lot of people using guayaberas.

don't you ever wear a suit or a tuxedo?

And this has absolutely nothing to do with globalism.

It has something to do with Japan not appreciating your own culture and instead taking on the formal attire created in the West.

I've never understood why almost all parliaments in the world wear tuxedos or why persons wear tuxedos in the UN.

Indeed. Here's the based moroccan parliament.

>moroccan parliament

>moroccan
>parliament

wew lotsa meem arrows

Pretty much.

Traditional "Chinese" costume is actually Hanfu. Qibao is actually Manchurian thing.
