What are some essential "Going back home by bus when it's dark outside" albums? Stuff like Burial and Miles Davis is obvious. I need more.

I forgot about Dean after The Redeemer. This track is really good.
Slightly too poppy to be comfy imo

Always wanted to get into OPN. This is the right time.
Great single.
God's work.
Good shit
Anyone got some more night vibes jazz like miles
A lot of stuff by 'Casino Versus Japan,' an ambient/idm artist I found recently fits that bill well imo. I was just coming here to make this thread to be honest.
The Cure - Disintegration (or Pornography if you're feeling nihilistic)
Radiohead - Amnesiac
Yo La Tengo - And Then Nothing Turned Inside Out
Bowery Electric - Lushlife
This and Disintegration as said
...
I listened to Ravedeath 1972 by Tim Hecker on a ride home once and it was a surreal experience
Oh also, clams casino, tim hecker, BoC, aphex twin, emeralds - solar bridge, portico quartet's early work, Bohren and der club of gore, Tokimonsta, Susumu Yokota, Inca Ore, Grouper, Art of Noise, maybe some drone doom or just some ambient drone. Shoegaze as well.
I'm giving all these recs because I too listen to a lot of music in the bus at night.
...
Hecker in general is great yeah
...
Aesop Rock - The Impossible Kid
Shahmen - Enter the Circle
Pulp - A Different Class
mac miller - faces
Sunday Munich - Vinculum
