Cool stadiums here's mine

>you'll never get your promised 9,000 capacity stands

i feel your pain my man

lyl

eh, it's ok

damn...

...

lolzors!

This is my local stadium. But Im not from the area

Kek, during the world cup?

...

goat stadium desu

also what do the french think of bordeaux's new one? i think it looks quite nice

In 1 year this shithole will be abandoned. Finally.

...

...

At this distance you better watch the game on tv m8
Or maybe it's the camera who give that impression
?

>Quand le virage se met à chanter
>C'est tout le stade qui va s'enflammer

...

you should check out the new Lyon stadium OM stadium looks like a giant toilet seat

Great stadium for half the price of the new one in Lyon

It's a 30min bus ride to the Parc des Princes though

...

the sad part is that they didnt even build a new stadium, they just put a roof on the old one
The city of marseille is soo shit that a roof cost half the price of :
Real estate,
+ Foundation
+ cronstruction
+ The playing field
+ the roof
of Lyon's stadium

And you know the best part, OM isnt even the owner of the stadium while OL is.
OM got ripped of into renting a giant toilet seat.

Meanwhile OL owns the stadium and the land around training ground, hotels, shops and stuff all around the stadium

...

Shit was comfy

...

Travelled round though

saw this

went to Lille for Yuros this year, Nou Camp, Wembley, Old Trafford, Anfield, Bridge, all the usual 'big team' ones.

Nicest I've seen is Emirates

I wish

lille stadium as well as the filthy bordeau stadium are just a block of soulless concrete.
no color, no identity of the club playing in that stadium.

I like the wall behind the keepers in st etienne and the OL stadium

I'm talkin about Bordeaux stadium dude.

About Marseille the fact that we keep the old stadium (and just upgrade it) is on purpose because is a legendary Stadium. And yes the Velodrome belongs to Marseille city.

Comfy/10

youtube.com/watch?v=CtXuKOfUPKw

it only cost half cause the other half of it got paid by taxpayers from bordeaux throu the shitty partenariat publique privé wich as we know use taxe payer money to build something so that a private corporate can make personal profit.
alos the City of Bordeau(taxpayer) bought the land a long long time ago for the new stadium. so they might have forgotten to mention it in the price

Been to Molineux, was surprised by how modern it looked for an older stadium.

I'd agree it was dead, was there for Yuro game though so the fans gave it some soul (though it doubt its regular fans do). How is Toulouse? Going there in October

Nice older ground, like Sheff Utd, but I'm probably biased. Did you go before or after they got the new stand?

Went for Jody Craddock's testimonial in 2014, the North Bank seemed very new, can't remember if they had completed the corner bit by then.

Toulouse stadium is strange. it looks like one of those bowl stadium that used to have a track field around it.
i hate it cause my team OL has a very bad track record there like 1 draw 9loss in the last 10years (though we won last season)
Also football is the second sport after based Rugby.

Molineux was completely rebuilt in the early 90s I think so it's not that old. It was one of the first to be converted to an all seater after the Hillsborough disaster so would have been one of the most modern in the country when it was finished.

completed 2013 I think

I was aware it was a rugby city, does it fill the ground when the football is on though?

...

rugby and footy are played in seperate stadium.
wouldnt want to play footi on a potato field.

...

It's just the camera cause it's a panorama

Was demolished a few years ago ;_;

Spent many days at the cricket bunking off high school with friends at this place.

;(

>Cricket on during school
what? Were you watching shield games or something?

...

man thats not a stadium, its a local park

literally my primary school had better facilities than that

image circa 2015

>all those Yuropoor stadiums ITT

Damn I was always calling you poor in a joking manner but you're actually straight up 3rd world

The away end at Brunton park is a magical place of sore necks

actually this shot has both stadiums which is better

Yeah except for a test against Sri Lanka I think.

...

and they'll always barf out some bullshit to justify it like
>b-but muh history!
>m-muh culture!
>s-so comfy
Kek. Most of the grounds (notable exception being the French) the Euros have posted ITT are simply garbage-tier

Should all just be knocked down. They just look like safety hazards

Sounds comfy

I love Hobart. Would have been awesome to grow up there and wag to watch cricket

Too bad no jobs exist in your state. I'd actually try to move there otherwise

...

There are cities with less than 500k inhabitants, who would've thought?

There are 62 000 people living in Auburn, Alabama. 80 000 if we count the students, Yuros have no excuse.

BMO Field. Pretty good for a stadium in Canada IMO

Okay. For what it's worth, there are several massive, modern stadia in my city, but I chose to post the closest one to where I live, since that's the point of the thread.

I'm sure most of the posters here aren't showing the largest or most impressive stadium near them, just the one that is most "local".

I mean, I live in a shitty province town, that's why my stadium (the OP pic) is so shit. We also have good looking cities (by your standarts)

More like most of your pro stadiums are comparable to our high school ones.

...

I love soccer stadiums that have seats all the way around despite only being like, four or five, rows high in places.

Stop being an asshole dude this is a good thread and you're ruining it

At least I can go out without having to fear becoming a victim of a mass shooting

>triggered Yuroboo

At least I can go out without being a gypsy, unlike you.

Burton is a bit like that, they'll be in the 2nd tier this season

Pls don't bully, we were promised an upgrade by the city, but it's not happening because
>nazi

At least I can go out without having to rotate sideways

If you say so.

and I'll be going here later this month, another 2nd tier stadium.

>12kb
seriously, thats the best image you could find?

also, if >your stadium doesn't hold ATLEAST 100,000 people, it's basically a non-stadium

God forbid someone isn't an asshole at all times.

>I'll be going to a stadium that doesnt exist

We're discussing real sports here, take that shit to /asp/

>Yuros in charge of design

>entire continent of Europe
>over a billion people
>not 1(ONE) stadium that holds 100k

literally the third world

Here's mine. Ignore flag I'm on vacation.

>has 100k stadium
>doesn't play sports

>over 1 billion people

What the fuck are you talking about, you stupid shackle-dragger.

i wonder what the atmosphere is like
must be surreal

>this flag
>this comment
squatting isnt a sport

>linking /fit/
ironic because i'm probably bigger than your wimp ass, lmao

...

...

...

...

Local is gonna be a cross between this and Carson,

>SOON

...

It's gonna be that close to downtown? Must be expensive as shit.

Just why ?

>round stadium
Eww.

get the fuck out of here faggot

stadia threads are comfy

top kek

I'd like to see a match there

Yup, just fuck my traffic up.
250m for this, I admit it looks nice (had to if it was right in the heart of downtown) but the Earthquakes new stadium last year only cost 100m.
