The reason religion is good is because it gives you a set moral compass, X is bad, dont do X, Y is good, do Y, this cannot and will never change based on your whim, unless commiting these sins would have made you survive a fatal situation, and I doubt someone like you was in a situation.

The Hadith (and i am talking about all of them from the most authenticated to the least) all share one common denominator……….they are not from Allah.
The hadith, a collection of written accounts on the Prophet, his life and teachings by various people from one of his wives to other people whom he may or may not have encountered, were all written after the the world was enlightened with the truth of the Quran.
Surely, if you place holy importance on the Hadith, then in essence what you are saying is that the Holy Quran isn't/wasn't as complete as it should be. If it was, you wouldn't need anything else.
The fact that people/scholars started recording hadith was wrong in itself as the prophet PBUH forbade that, it is Ironic how that is working out to be. The thing that the Prophet PBUH feared the most is happening (people taking the Hadith over the Quran). I will post some of the many hadiths about the prophet (I will leave the many more that were of weak status and just give the Sahih ones). The prophet PBUH says:
حَدَّثَنَا هَدَّابُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ تَكْتُبُوا عَنِّي وَمَنْ كَتَبَ عَنِّي غَيْرَ الْقُرْآنِ فَلْيَمْحُهُ وَحَدِّثُوا عَنِّي وَلاَ حَرَجَ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ - قَالَ هَمَّامٌ أَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ - مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
Do not write down anything from me, and he who wrote down anything from me except the Qur'an, he should efface that and narrate from me, for there is no harm in it and he who attributed any falsehood to me-and Hammam said: I think he also said:" deliberately" -he should in fact find his abode in the Hell-Fire.
