Russian and Ukrainian Music Thread
I met an Ukrainian girl a couple of days ago while on my vacations and once we started talking about music she told me that russian music is shitty, I don't think so but I don't have a solid opinion about it because it's been five months since I started learning russian and the song I've been listening to are really great for me, she told me I should listen to Oкeaн Eльзи to start having a criteria about Ukrainian music.

Okean Elzy are not that great, kind of like Coldplay crossed with Razorlight. If it weren't for their political activity they'd be much less well known. Russian bands I'd check out include Bpaвo, ДДT, Nautilus Pompilius, and, especially Aквapиyм

A week ago I discovered Лeнингpaд and Flëur, though the second one is Ukrainian they sing in Russian and the songs are really nice.
