Germans are weird.

Also /Éire/ is dead, let it rest in please. No more bumps

Reading that 404'd Norn Iron thread

Do ye lads really get bullied when you go there? I've been in Belfast and the Prodeshtant areas to the east of the city wearing a Dublin GAA hoodie and nobody said anything to me.

we had a good few threads yesterday

Fairly sexist and bigoted article from the Irish Times

just import more third worlders :^)

Night laddos.

Táim go maith, agus tú?

Morning lads. Ran a 5k and so loads of cute little foxes around

Are you learning Irish or just shitpostin?

>Ran a 5k
I never could understand how people enjoy running. I don't like the whole "lungs burning while throat is sore from sucking in freezing cold air" thing.

>lungs burning while throat is sore from sucking in freezing cold air.

That usually stops after a few weeks of training lad until you push yourself harder and then its just rinse and repeat.

I do it for my job and its actually very calming too. I can just forget about everything for 30minutes and clear my head while I focus on moving

Tá brón orm, go raibh biseach ort gan mhoill!

Foghlaím agus shitpost mé (cad í an Ghaeilge ar "shitposting"?).

>That usually stops after a few weeks of training
The problem is getting through those first weeks in the first place. Did it last year, went from not being able to run to running about 4k and then got a chest infection, stopped running and just never went back.

>I can just forget about everything for 30minutes and clear my head while I focus on moving
But what if you really need to remember something m8?

wu

Just have to push yourself through it again. Or do a different form of cardio.

Sure it all comes back once I finish but that half hour of clarity is pure bliss

>(cad í an Ghaeilge ar "shitposting"?).
There isn't a word as far as I'm aware. Most of the "new" words are just being made and slotted into the language (like idirlion being internet), but I don't know if many people use them, and I can't see them making a word for shitposting.

There's a few Gaeilgoirí knocking around here pretty regularly, their Irish is much better than my patchwork excuse.

You can learn together and turn that red into a green.

téim. Tá suíl agam go dtéim sa samhradh.

hey cheers, I'm pretty shit though. I'd recommend you'd learn more, it's a really nice language.

yeye i'll give it a try but i'm in the middle of studying italian right now so starting a different language might be a bit counterproductive

Irish gets confused for Italian on here all the time dw they're practically identical

The Blues are said to have translucent skin, large almond shaped eyes and are small of stature. The main issue of their teaching was ‘pursue your passion’ follow your own way, do your own thing, don’t be pressured into being anything but what and who you are

Alien contact started about 1947-1948 with the Greys contacting the U.S. Government to form a treaty with them. Another body of aliens arrived, called the Blues. The Blues advised the government not to deal with the Greys saying it would only lead to disaster. They told the U.S. to follow your own path. They said they would teach with peace and harmony if men would disarm and listen. The military said ‘no deal.’. So The Blues left.

Right so.

Who here /gastroenteritis/?

Ah yes the ""peaceful"" space-fairing niggers

That's pretty fucked up.

>Irish women are so bad that an English Jew who plays God against the rules of nature has to explain the basics of those rules to them in the vain hope that they don't risk fucking up their child for disgustingly selfish and vapid reasons

Good. The Blues should fuck off.

Can you imagine the raw sexual energy emanating from a hungry Sersh? She sees you walking home with a takeaway curry cheese chip. Her mouth salivates with each bite you take until she's visibly drooling. Suddenly she can't contain herself and waddles towards you. She grabs the box out your hands and wolfs them down, often forgetting to chew. Before you can even comprehend what's happened she's already finished, and wanting more. She tries sucking the curry stained on her jumper but it's not enough. Then she looks at you. Her eyes fixed on your curry cheese covered fingers. She grabs your hands with full force and starts licking them sensually. Her eyes are flickering and she's already moaning. Before long she can't even stand anymore. She falls to her knees, still keeping a deathgrip on those delicious fingers of yours. You try to break free but she's too strong. You're also afraid if she falls over her colossal weight will crush your legs to powder. Suddenly you're being dragged down. Before long she's stuck your hand down into her leggings and you can feel her moist warm interior. At this point this is happening whether you want it or not so you decide to go along with it. Her hairy cunt makes you itch but you don't care. She makes no effort to hide her pleasure. Surely people inside their homes are now listening to sound of Saoirse Ronan orgasming on the street. She's so loud she drowns out the music being played in the nearby underage disco. Her crotch is soaking wet and it's clear her body can't take much more. She lets out one final joyous roar and collapses on the footpath. You wipe your hand on her jumper and give it a sniff. Still smells of curry cheese chips.

Everyone's still recovering from the shock of those possible Star Wars leaks?

I think I fixed my phone.

Dad's "fixing" the stove again.

Rental is insanely expensive now. Fuck it that house is owned by the government, why can't anyone live in it?

Until they realise adding the north would make our society more religious and economy poorer.
Some of the people in the North are like they're still living in the 70's, they're backwards in the extreme. The people in favour have never lived through some of the issues surrounding casual bigotry which would suddenly become our problem overnight. They have no idea how to deal with marches, sectarian vandalism, bonfires and flag burning that are daily occurrences there. We lose our shit in this country if a politican shows any indication of even believing in a God, we would not be prepared for their staunch faith in all facets of life.

Lads was Devs Irish language reforms a mistake? It separated us from our Scottish Gaelic brothers.

Purge them once the counties have been signed over. Simples.

>The people in favour have never lived through some of the issues surrounding casual bigotry which would suddenly become our problem overnight.
kek what did you grow up sheltered or something? everyone here is casually bigoted you fucking fairy

I found him Luxlad boys.

>who in the republic is against reunification?
I guarantee you it's middle aged men and young women who are against it.

The propaganda narrative pushed by the British and Irish governments for the last 50 years is that "it would be too much hassle" and this is widely believed in the middle class, middle aged surburban belt

Considering it didn't really make it any easy to learn the language I'd say so

>supporting the Apollo House squatters
No.

I don't feel any sentimental or cultural connection with the north or the people in it. Why should I support reunification?

>The propaganda narrative pushed by the British
Doesn't make sense considering that the North is nothing but a burden on the rest of the UK. Therefore if Unionists really cared about the UK, they would stop being Unionists.

Dickhead

I don't feel any sentimental or cultural connection with Dublin or the people in it. Why should I not support burning it to the ground?

Lebensraum.

Well aren't you the edgy contrarian, housing homeless people over the Winter is a bad thing?

>Lebensraum.
northern ireland has a higher population density though. Not much lebensraum unless they were to be deported.

>Rental is insanely expensive now. Fuck it that house is owned by the government, why can't anyone live in it?
Because that's not how state-owned property works.

I'd support the Apollo House situation if there was a genuine shortage of homeless accommodation in Dublin - but there isn't. The people squatting there just don't want to abide by the rules of the legitimate homeless accommodation (e.g. no drugs or alcohol permitted). So the bleeding heart leftists, never being ones to miss an opportunity to virtue-sginal, step in to seize a building that they don't own to give homeless people a safe place to drink and do drugs over the Xmas period.

Enough is enough

Socialise the gains, privatise the losses. Not the reverse.

because vandalism is bad, mmkay?

Once the Unionists leave, it will be fine.

youtube.com/watch?v=tAYC-Sg66L0

>Well aren't you the edgy contrarian, housing homeless people over the Winter is a bad thing?
It's the principle of it. Bleeding heart RICH lefties unilaterally declaring ownership of "communal property" because the absolute dregs of Dublin city aren't happy that they're getting enough free stuff and are being forced to give up their drugs.

If they were squatting in some bank building or a foreign corporation's building, I'd be impressed by their balls and consistency, but they're taking the safe, fake-controversialist view that leftists have always taken.
They should all be shot for crimes against the state tbqh, because they're putting the "muh neediness" of Dublin's dregs above the authority of the people's state.

>We don't need a Stalin ruling the Soviet Union!
>We need fifty Stalins, because one is not enough!

>We don't need the government wasting money on useless things that cover for indigent scumbags!
>We need MORE money wasted on useless things that cover for indigent scumbags!

They shouldn't have defused the bomb desu.

Dubliners and its junkies should be sent to Rock all or sent to dig trenches in the Wicklow mountains

>housing homeless people over the Winter is a bad thing?

Would you let a group of homeless people set up shop in your shed because it's winter? You fucking would not.

You being homeless does not give you the excuse to do illegal shit.

Wrong pic.

irishtimes.com/news/politics/enda-kenny-says-rise-of-far-right-parties-is-a-concern-1.2922603

>they're putting the "muh neediness" of Dublin's dregs above the authority of the people's state.
Well said.

I hate when supporters of the Apollo House squatters claim that they seized the building out of necessity and to draw attention to the homeless crisis in Dublin when there is more than enough legitimate homeless accommodation available in the city. If you defend the occupation of Apollo House, you are actually advocating for state property to be seized so that junkies can drink and do drugs in safety.

>Rental is insanely expensive now.

>let's not point out mass immigration to this country, centred on Dublin and the small cities
>let's not point out that Dublin is this black hole destroying independent economic life out across the country
>let's not point out the proliferation of council houses in Dublin that impede better market operation

>let's just punish property owners and double down on making Dublin a New York-tier rent bubble shithole

You're so fucking biased.

Some people don't want to or can't stay in certain accommodations due to fighting or robbing.

Apollo house is owned by nama and was going to be demolished. The people currently staying there are happy, they've an address now - which opens up so many more doors for them.

>but Muh Dublin people do drugs

Gowan and shit.

>which opens up so many more doors for them
Don't you mean windows you homeless knacker? fucking kek

>market will fix it

>Doesn't make sense considering that the North is nothing but a burden on the rest of the UK.

The UK is ruled by old aristocrats still dreaming of the British empire, losing Northern Ireland would be losing a huge part of their prestige.
They want to hold on to in the same way they want to hold on to the Falklands, it makes no sense but makes them feel good.

>You're so fucking biased.
No, that would be you. I'm merely describing the situation as it stands. I actually wouldn't have much of a problem with Apollo House being seized as it has if there was a genuine shortage of accommodation for homeless people in Dublin.

>Some people don't want to or can't stay in certain accommodations due to fighting or robbing.
Most state-run homeless accommodation facilities have 1 staff member per 3-4 residents, so they are very tightly controlled. The ones where fighting and robbing are problematic certainly exist, but they are most definitely in the minority.

>Apollo house is owned by nama and was going to be demolished
And? If I'm gonna demolish my house tomorrow, does that give you the right to come and squat in it?

>The people currently staying there are happy
Don't give a shit - they're breaking the law without genuine cause.

>they've an address now
In a building they are illegally occupying.

>denying junkies are a chronic problem in Dublin
Jesus, and you had the nerve to call me biased.

>They want to hold on to in the same way they want to hold on to the Falklands
The Falklands is a strategic location in the South Atlantic and potentially has large oil reserves, so wanting to hold on to that territory is certainly understandable.

Posting anime all the time is not though

Apparently Northern Ireland is useful to Britain because of the waters is gives them control of, they also contribute a lot to the military because there are no other jobs, though they could probably still do that if they joined the republic.

We'll strike oil in Antrim any day now, then Westminster will love us again.

go steal the spire and use it as an oil drill

What's it like being a Prodeshtant Nationalist in Antrim?

>they also contribute a lot to the military because there are no other jobs
Given the huge manpower shortage that the UK military is currently facing, that would certainly be a valuable benefit.

Join in m8's

should just be /celt/

nah I'll pass

>Some people don't want to or can't stay in certain accommodations due to fighting or robbing.
Which is why an iron fist is needed to keep irredeemable scum out of the system that's supposed to pull people who can and want to be pulled out of homelessness.
Celebrity wasters will definitely provide a better way to police them than the state, whose supposed heavy-handedness towards "Muh homeless" they are criticising.

>The people currently staying there are happy,

They shouldn't be "happy" being homeless. And citation needed apart from the commie propagandists.

>they've an address now - which opens up so many more doors for them.

A building which identifies them as homeless scumfucks, and a building which is going to be knocked down next year.

I'm not saying that in an exclusively "derp" way, but you have to ask if providing state-run stuff to Dublin plebs is any better.
Dublin's plebs shouldn't be given a free pass on their houses if demand is really so high for housing in Dublin. That's leaving aside the question of whether it's good at all for anyone to have swathes of Dublin be "that's a bad area because that's where all the council houses are". Poverty trap and all that.

If you're a filthy commie who wants multi-generational state dependency, then these people should accept being moved out of Dublin and into the crappy boom-time haunted ghost estates the commuter yuppies live in.

Comfy

cities were a mistake

>I used to walk past the old motor tax office behind the Four Courts a couple of days a week. I’d bring sandwiches from my hostel to a couple who used to sleep under the overhang there.
>The girl was pregnant, but I’d bring what I could the days I was down there. Then one day I saw that the council had fenced off the overhang and nobody could sleep there. I thought ‘is this the country we want to live in?’

thejournal.ie/apollo-house-a-look-inside-3161655-Dec2016/

>all that left-wing virtue signalling
Why didn't the pregnant girl go to a hostel? Or better yet, the hostel where the guy who was bringing her sandwiches was a volunteer?

>mfw seeing a group of teenage girls surrounding some homeless fella on the street, talking to him and giving him money while one of them records like in one of those virtue signalling youtube videos with millions of views

if you go the red line on the LUAS passing through the Four Courts you'll see junkie couples a lot, they were probably one of them
loud cunts so they are

Or better yet, not get pregnant in the first place!?

Honestly, if the problem is the "you're an adult and are therefore subject to the whims of muh NAP so get off muh property okbye" attitude of parents is to blame, then I think parents should be held a lot more accountable than they currently are.
Homeless people have to come from somewhere, after all?

>he doesn't prowl Dublin's streets in the evening impregnating strung out unconscious homeless women

Why are there so many homeless in Dublin?

Because it's better to be homeless in Dublin than housed in the countryside.

Mate of mine impregnated some strung out unconscious woman in a dormitory across the street from an underage disco down in Carlow once.
