Why dont you start a business user?

Why dont you start a business user?

Most businesses fail.

...

I did. I have one. It's going pretty well, but I think I spent too much money trying to expand. Whoops.

cause you need money to start a business. and I dont like telling other people what to do. im a primitive anarchist who pays for internet.

Working on it

Only way to get super rich is starting your own business or inheriting unless you win the lotto

Only faggots don't try to start their own business

I started a business with $1000. It's going pretty well so far, but I've been too busy to go on Sup Forums for a while.

Yeah, and the most successful people often created the most failed businesses.

You can't sell something you don't believe in

Successful people who start businesses already have money, they don't have to believe in their business because it doesn't matter if it fails or not.

>he's not willing to spend money to make money
I don't need your tips if you have that mindset fag
Most fail because the owner relys soley on employees, doesnt put in 70+ hours a week into his OWN business and he probs pays himself way too much, some businesses fail not all
???
Noice, what biz?
I like you
I agree, gl with the biz, what sector you in?
This. Kinda

Don't know anything about doing so

I do, but I do it just to get by. It's not glamorous and I'm not rich. I only work about 30 hours a week though.

Off by one

You have the internet don't you? Thats all im gonna say
What sector are you in, its an etsy shop isn't it lmao?

Who says i don't?

doing 460m after 3 years.

insert my nuts in your mouth. you might learn something.

No, freelance web development and design.

Im buying a business license shortly.
Why work so much to make some other asshole rich?

Agricultural technology. We're not that profitable yet, but we are getting considerable interest from investors.

I believed in every single one of my failures.

>Im buying a business license shortly.
=
I'm a procrastinator that doesn't get shit done.

If you're waiting on a license, you've already failed.

Speed kills.

>not profitable yet
=
bullshit VC scam.

go back tp grinding affiliate offers.

Then what do you recommend?

I've started 13 businesses from 1997 to 2011. Varied from ISP, online store, and network consulting, to food truck, franchise restaurant, and auto garage.
Currently broke and living with and taking care of my elderly parents.
2 Hostile takeovers were a total loss to me, but a debt and bankruptcy to the corporate thieves.
Bad employees/moles steal, direct customers to competitor, and file false L&I claims.
Vandals and thieves can wipe out your equipment and inventory, good luck recovering with federal/state/county/city income/asset/inventory taxes.
Running a cut rate garage, and mobile repair service, charging half what other mechanics were... nigs, spics, and subhuman trash still begged for lower rates, cancel checks, whine over estimates, and otherwise freak out when I refuse to serve them.
At top I had about $13million in cash, and more in assets.
Rule: if you haven't "broken even" by 3 years, abandon the business.
Rule: if the business is more in debt for a period of 6 months than it cost to start it, abandon the business.

Do websites and other services for corporations.

I have a little Fruteria/ ice cream place in South Texas. Its doing alright.

I resell shit on Ebay that my friends and relatives give me for free. They act like I'm doing them a favor a lot of the time when they could have sold it themselves or thrown it away. 100 percent pure profit.

1. ready
2. fire
3. aim

figure out if your business works first, calibrate logistics, bureaucracy second.

I may in the future. I could work my ass off on woodworking and turn a hobby into profit. However, i'm working two jobs right now and I'm pursuing an engineering degree. Then i could even end up having my own business in computer hardware, video game design or robotics one day..

The only thing i'll learn from that is WHAT A FUCKING LIAR TASTES LIKE! Eat shit faggot you're expectations are too optimistic
Damn, are you just waiting until you get the idea for the next facebook tier company?
>buying a business license
What biz and where do you live?
Good luck too ya buddy!!! E-Commerce here, it's my first year but i've made 60k (net) so i'm happy

I just look at it like this. If I could get a job for a good company paying more than I make working on my own I would take it in a heartbeat.

Heres the thing about selling things you don't believe in

I'm working on a marketing guide so I can teach people how to digitally market their product through ads and such

If i don't believe I can sell that, I won't put effort in, and it won't be decent. People are stupid, but when marketing guides cost hundreds of dollars people will do research.

I'm not trying to scam people, I like marketing and i think it can help a lot of people get their businesses to take off. I want to sell a quality product that people will tell others about, and how it helped them.

To noobs who don't know shit about business:

Do NOT try to scam people unless you have the money to lawyer up and make sure they can't win in court. BBB is fucking cracking down on this shit constantly. Your ass will get fucking railed if you scam people and get caught. Run something legit, make some cash, and if it's not enough try to scam people if youre a degenerate.

explain the last rule

services industrial = ivory tower none-doer millenials.

protip: hire consultants if you want to waste a shit load of money on ideas that sound awesome that yield no ROI.

So licensing last then?
Never thought of it that way. Thank you user.

okay, you wanna stop being such a faggot and ask for forgiveness? Cuz if you do, it's not too late I'll show you screens of balance sheets, DOMO data, media spend and cart sales.

learn to respect your elders, newfag.

I never said you'd succeed if you believed in it

I said you cant sell something you don't believe in. Obviously you didn't know what you were doing, and by the sounds of "agricultural technology" you aren't really in a market you can succeed in.

Don't try to make a business in a field that's already fucking dominated by corporations if you're trying to get rich.

>services industrial = ivory tower none-doer millenials

wat

it's called dry testing or smokescreen testing, why would you build a funnel and product if you don't even know you can sell it? build the sales funnel first. then if it backs out, cancel the orders and build the actually product.

Read Ready Fire Aim by Masteron and the Lean StartUp by that douchey guy.

Pander to the working Mexicans if you live in the south. A lot of them have extra spending money and they are very loose with their money. They are not as picky as white people and they dont complain about what they get for the money they paid for like niggers (who always have something to say).

No, I just don't feel like expanding. I have an idea that I could probably hustle a bunch of money out of people legally real quick but I'm too pussy/lazy to try.

>13 businesses
>$13m cash
So was that 1m per business or was it a few that made more than the rest, also tell me more about your online store and any tips you have, if you want to give them...
I scream you scream we all scream for?
Lol, what happens when they stop giving you shit?

Those mirrors look like shit.

tl;dr:
those who succeed run businesses, those who fail and read books. consult.

I work in a warehouse. I sent out 100s of thousands in goods on my own. I get paid 13 an hour to do so. Most companies by me pay less than 10 for the same amount of work if not more. So if I can do that myself, for my own company, why the fuck not?

ITT: Cluebags spread horseshit.

...

I suggest he starts another business hauling away shit people have but they dont need. Then resell those items on ebay. Thats what I would do.

I have no capital and no credit score.
I have no ideas for a product.
And to top it all off, I'm not really cut out for it.

What a shitty fucking car. They're trying too much to make it look like a 6 year old's toy.Plus it seems very inefficient when it comes to washing it.Who the fuck would buy this junk?or rather what idiot would develop this level of junk.

and the ugly people losers has no friends and takes anything and is ugly and smell like poop like beyonce and is ugly and try to hurt the attrative loser people the ugly way and try to be better then the popular people but is too ugly to hurt the popular people with looks and is ugly and smell like poop like beyonce and thats another proof the popular people proved that the ugly people losers is lame and ugly
and the ugly people losers is ugly and smart and is ugly and smell like poop like beyonce

Do it if you can make more or little less more less work. You could probably make bank in shipping anyway. I wasn't discouraging you just saying that if you can make more money working for someone else then do it... obviously that's not a concern for you though.

Don't ask for tips if the guy is in a shit financial situation

Obviously he has no idea how to manage money and businesses if he had 13 million dollars and lost it all.

Also, even if he was successful still, that information doesn't come cheap friend. Run the business how you want. If you fail you're not cut out for it. People are born to lead or follow, if you weren't born a leader go work for a company and let the big boys play.

Oh, it's you.

What is wrong with you again?

>Why dont you start a business user?
I own a payday loan location.

...

Dumbest shit i've ever heard.
>you were BORN with every last drop of knowledge on building a million dollar empire, don't learn from other with experience pffttt
No bud, success comes with learning, experience, trial and error, research and studying your market. You're not born with shit

Is it possible to do business solo and become wealthy? Obviously it is but I feel like it would be difficult. I don't like being under anyone's thumb and I hate being responsible for others.

I kind of have and am working towards my dreams and goals. I think I've made excellent progress over the last couple of years.

I think he's saying that some have a natural tendency to make money and succeed in business and others don't... and these others are probably better suited to doing other things. Which is probably true to a certain extent, although with immense effort you could probably learn to "think" like a boss and succeed in the business world.

I guess, yeah actually thats true.

And this is why you failed

I never said you're born with all the knowledge, I said you're either born a leader or follower. If you don't have the mentality you are capable, you're a cuck fag who looses 13 mil.

It really depends on what you want to go into. If it involves physical products, don't even bother trying to do it solo. Youll get fucking crushed by fortune 500 retailers

Unless you have a legitimate million dollar idea.

Businesses typically aren't profitable during R&D. Thank God it's ready to enter production.

Thanks. I hope your business continues being a success.

Sure thing, buddy. How's your Uber clone doing?

I laughed out loud. This website is full of degenerates and fedora-tippers.

Are we neighbors user? Where in socal do you live?

I want to but I really don't have a clue what business to start.

You can't mock people when you yourself are a failure friend.

Also, I find it hysterical that you didn't even read my last sentence. Good shit man.

This is what a good STEM education, an entrepreneur mindset, and surrounding yourself with successful people is for.

Do you live in the Newport village apts right by this pic?

I feel like the age of the self-made millionaire is coming close to an end. I'm pretty sure a handful of corporations will basically have the ability to fill any void in the market and be able to do it much faster than the layman ever could.

Yeah I get what you mean now, and I agree. Also in your response to the other guy, I would add that if you're selling something unique enough and bringing something completely new to the table, even if its just the way you sell it, thats also a good way to go solo.

Na, I live across South Coast.

Yeah for sure

The problem is, people just try to copy big shit. Like the snuggy, shit was lightning in a bottle but idiots tried to make knock offs and no one fell for it.

If you arent bringing something new when it comes to an actual physical product, don't bother.

You can only talk you way so far, especially when it comes to a million dollar deal. People who have that kind of money usually aren't stupid, however much the underlings would like to believe they are.

It has to be unique, like you said, if you want it to be a money maker.

Pretty much, crunch your number up and just see how hard it is to net just 1 million, never mind 10's of millions.

Luckily if you're in America you can sue fucking anyone so even if big companies try to steal your shit you can call them out. Usually they'll buy you out or do a settlement because it's rare when people stand up against them.

Also no one said you had to stick to one idea to become a millionaire. Fact is unless your business is very successful you should look into other endeavors like investing and ideas you hear people talk about that never come to fruition

I just mean in 50 or so years that corporations will be able to implement an idea on the fly as soon as a need arises and fulfill a need much more competitively than any layman will be able to. Amazon, Google, Apple aren't fucking around, particularly Amazon.

That's why we must capitalize on today.

Also everyone loves an underdog dude. That's why Im doing what im doing. Market it as an average Joe who turned his dream into a career. People eat that shit up.
