Factorise x(x+3)-x-3

factorise x(x+3)-x-3

99% of my students can't solve this.
the answer is not (x+3)(x-1).

It's (x^2 + 2x -3)

do you know what factorization means? look it up

(x-1)(x+3)

is it (x(squared) + 9)squared - sry dunno how to type maths on keyboard

no that would be x^4 + 18(x^2) + 81

THIS ^^
especially as its not (x+3)(x-1)

how did you get that answer, show working out. op said its not correct btw so not sure if you're retard or not lol

Get your eyes checked.

I already want to shoot people and eat candy

(x+3)(x-2)??/??does Sup Forums not have the intelligence to solve simple ass fucking factorisation algebra problems?

Show working? Fuck that. WolframAlpha.

if you can't see that he's right, you shouldn't be calling other people retarded

(x+3)(x-1)=x^2-x+3x-3=x(x+3)-x-3
-3 and 1 are the solutions for the parabola x^2-x+3x-3=0

This is like 6th grade math

(x+3)(x-2) = x^2 + x - 6

Fuck that shit.

What does a Haas CnC lathe have to do with anything?

user gave up and decided to post random shit

=x^2+3x-x-3
=x^2+2x-3
=(x-1)(x+3)

Here's a scary thought. What if OP isn't trolling? What if he's actually just a moron, who's teaching kids how do math incorrectly?

x(x+3)-1(x+3)
(x+3)(x-1), this is the only answer.

I suck at maths yet still program one of these. Basically I work with practical math to make stuff, like medical tools.

Yeah it's unrelated, but also a completely different application of maths

Source ? Lolicon?

this.
(x+3)(x-1)
>OP should teach Wolfram Alpha how to math.
