Well, I've give you a list of heroes that are easy to play for each role. For offense, Soldier 76 is the most basic and easiest hero to pickup, just kind of your standard FPS deal. Your ult is an aimbot which is really nice, you have a pretty good AoE heal, basic shooting with a 25 bullet magazine, and long ranged mini-rockets, which is your alt fire. For defense, Bastion is definitely the easiest, you have a self-heal, your ult turns you into a mobile tank, you can turn into a turret that shreds through everything, only downside to him is that he's countered pretty hard by snipers and Genji. For Tanks, Rein and Winston are both quite easy, Rein has a portable shield that is able to block 2000 damage, an ult that's a stun in a straight line, a projectile with really great range and decent damage, and his hammer. Winston can get places pretty quickly, as he has an ability that allows him to jump quite far lengths, a deployable bubble shield, and a lightning gun that doesn't require you to aim that much, but have to be very close for it to damage, which it also has very low DPS. Finally, the easiest support is Mercy. Standard healer, point and click + hold, alt fire is a damage boost, secondary which is a small pistol, ability that allows her to fly to nearby teammates, and an ult that revives all dead teammates in a certain area.
