Most devastating musician death this decade?

for my money, it's gotta be dj rashad. i can scarcely fathom the radical music he'd be producing if he were still around

i bet you're american as well

chicago underground dance battle music. turned into it's own genre of music. think dirty/ghetto house but with 140-150 bpm and a ton of repeated vocal chops. super fast, some of it wouldn't be out of place in initial or some shit like that.

There's too many that died.

Captain Beefheart, David Bowie, Prince, Alex Chilton, Peter Steele, Lemmy, Keith Emerson, Davy Jones, Adam Yauch, Ray Manzarek, Lou Reed, Edgar Froese, Chris Squire, Stevie Wright, Maurice White, Alan Vega, the list goes on.

Lots of them have definitely hit me, but really the biggest one was definitely David Bowie. Listened to Heroes that day and actually cried like a good deal and I didn't think that would happen

Wasn't devastated but Amy Winehouse was pretty sad. She was miles above the over-commercialised solo female singer rubbish filling the charts since.

Chuck Shuldiner ... when was that?

Peaches Geldoff , that was awful
