The gambling one and the hunting one are two of my least favorite. He goes in with an obvious bias against the respective industries, throws it in everyone's faces during the film, and refuses to consider the other side and their perspectives.

It serves a hugely important purpose, which is quite bluntly explained in the documentary itself (though Louis refuses to accept it, the same as you apparently).
These animals; lions, hyenas, gazelle, any African Savannah animal that is routinely hunted, have no reason to exist without the hunting industry. They would be wiped out as vermin, lions especially who are a nuisance to regular livestock operations.
With the monetary incentive to selling hunting rights however, farmers have been transitioning to keep huge tracts of land set aside specifically for these animals to live, breed, and survive in, of course with the caveat that sometimes some of them are killed (according to specific quotas set by the government).
The hunting industry is what keeps those animals around. Louis has this answer shoved in his face numerous times and he just stammers out the same exact question like he didn't hear the answer.
