That depends. I grew up watching and reading a lot of science fiction so I find most of the parodies humorous. Rick's nihilistic desperation provides a nice pairing for Morty's naivete, and vice-versa. It seems to be pretty polarizing, although everyone who enjoys it seems to be able to describe why in a fairly articulate way while I've only ever seen detractors shrug or repeat "it's just bad."

it's got a very good production quality since they only air 10 episodes every year and a half approximately. even if some of the humor is pretty fucking dumb and pointless, it's got some cool stuff. all in all i'd reccomend it
