Any naturalist fags on here? Can anyone identify this skull?

Any naturalist fags on here? Can anyone identify this skull?

Came from woods of northeastern USA.

Was definitely an omnivore--clearly had molars and canines. Too big to be groundhog or beaver or anything, but I can't think of any larger omnivores that live around here.

Bumping with more pictures. Side view

...

Detail of the teeth--maybe that will help?

Only 5 teeth are left, and 4 are molars, but one is clearly a canine.

There are six holes in the front for teeth roots to go in--maybe they're for large buck teeth?

Are there any teeth left ? Linda hard to be shure

/out/ is dead. Only faggots left.

Sup Forums consistently answers questions better than specialized boards do in most obscure subjects.

One more picture, side angle view of teeth. Ask if you need any more pictures to help, I have the skull in front of me.

Soo its not a canine the teeth in the back are for grinding, canine would have narrower cutting teeth

thats a raccoon

Look here, I circled the canine in red

Biologist here.

Bear.

pretty funny, made me chuckle

I know this is Sup Forums n all but dude put some undies on lul

More like a Badger
Do you see these nasal slits behind the teeth ? Racoons have more round holes

No, the canines would go in the large hole at the right edge of your red circle. They are MUCH larger than the tooth you circled.

Derpadologist here, it's obvious.

This.
Prolly a bear cub.

Prob a bear

It's Yorik, I knew him well

Another bear skull for comparison

Fuck. Oops.

You fags can't complain too much, you all spend all day looking at dicks anyway.

user here nailed it, it's a raccoon skull.

Well then what do you call that tooth? It's sure as fuck not an incisor

Incisors are in the front, that one is a premolar.

Looked up images for both those suggestions, they're surprisingly similar. What marks should I look for to tell them apart?

This isn't grizzly country though. Only black bears up here.

Don't have those up here

thats boar nigger

Raccoon skulls are WAY tinier than that. It's absolutely a bear. I've taken courses in vertebrate zoology and had to learn the bones of like ten different mammals.

meant for

I thought bagder but Racoon seems now like the right thing

No. It's a bear.
