I just watched them back to back recently, and my choice is Casino. Has better cinematography, better music and more fleshed out performance from both Pesci and De Niro. Worst part is that It has "scenes from the marriage" thing with Sharon Stone.
Plebfellas is generic mafia shit Bascially Godfather during the 60s-80s
Casino takes a new take on it

Goodfellas has better camera work, but Casino has better set designs, and cinematography.
My main problem with Casino is some of the narration is awful, especially from Pesci.
But seriously, they're both great. Why is this a discussion that people THINK they have to make? I don't get it, they're solid films so why is it so important to compare the two so heavily? Is this some sort of complex or something people have? You see others compare specifically these two so now you have to? It's over done, just stop.
Kevin Barnes
Casino.
Adrian Rodriguez
Sharon Stone drags it down
Leo Garcia
I preferred Casino, although I absolutely loved Goodfellas. Both excellent films.
The main problem with both films is that they ruined gangster movies for me, everything else seems like trash in comparison.
>moviemistakes.com Fun fact: they were really trying to kill DeNiro but that sneaky Jew motherfucker used his kike powers to swap himself with a dummy during the filming
Seriously though that's really pedantic and you can barely notice it in the movie because it's engulfed in fire in the very next frame.
Cooper Rivera
Casino
If you're older than 16 and you still like Goodfellas you should probably kill yourself
Lincoln Green
I have to go with Casino
Joshua Barnes
No her acting is perfect in Casino. Never have I seen a movie portray women this accurately
Connor Lewis
Casino was way better.
However both were just old school capeshit. No real substance.
Cooper Brown
Casino, it's in my top 5 favorite films.
Evan Butler
Her acting is not the problem, the pace of editing is.
They included a lot of her moaning resulting a skylar is a whore effect.
Jayden Rivera
I like both equally
What are some other white-peoplecore films?
Jackson Morris
>the cornfield scene
Jordan Ross
youtube.com/watch?v=zPIrZSTTF5o This is one of the best scenes. I think skylar is a whore effect is intentional here. Scorcese is not a faggot like BRAVO VANCE who tries to appeal to sjw. You are supposed to hate her
Joseph Thomas
But Ginger actually is a whore and the whole reason the enterprise failed
Christopher Rodriguez
>MUDDAFUCKA YOU I FORGOT HE SLAPS HER AND CALLS HER THAT LMAO
Owen Gonzalez
What does this sign mean? I never got it
Christopher Rivera
Casino > Goodfellas
Jace Bailey
Sharon Stone was terrific in this film. What a detestable woman her character was.
Elijah Gray
WOWS > Goodfellas = Casino
Leo James
I know Casino is the better made movie but my heart tells me Goodfellas
Anthony Flores
I haven't seen both films in a long time so my opinion should be taken with a big pinch of salt.
When I first got into movies, I much prefer Casino. It is faster pace, with more action, and much more graphic I think. From the first scene with de Niro getting blown up in his car, right to the end with Joe Pesci being beaten and buried alive. It just seemed a much cooler film.
Now however, I prefer Goodfellas. I think it's got a better story, and I actually prefer the slower pacing of it now. I think that slower pace helped to build up tension at the end of the film much better. It also has more memorable scenes I think.
It's understandable with the 2 films being so similar, that Scorsese felt he needed to up the ante somehow. Naturally they would always get compared, and the latter just felt too much like an imitation. Still a very good film of course. But whereas Casino just seemed to try so hard to be cool, Goodfellas was just naturally cool.
Easton Russell
Goodfellas is the patrician answer >dinner with tommy's mom >billy batts >spider >i'm funny how? >based ray liotta all coked up and paranoid
Compare to >robert deniro in blue socks >tommy's mom shoehorned in again >lester
I guess the jew muddafucker scene was pretty good
Nolan Sanchez
>he puts ketchup on his food Fucking flyover everywhere.
Sebastian Myers
>Fucking flyover everywhere what did he mean by this?
Landon Fisher
He's implying that people in New York don't use ketchup.
Jaxon Miller
I'm not sure user would have a better insight than an Italian who grew up their at that time.
Samuel Turner
Did Green have OCD or something?
Justin Hughes
No, Green having a secret partner, Ace being retarded and Nicky being a hothead brought everything down. Everyone got too greedy and comfortable out there.
Jason Lee
Casino is arguably the patrician's choice but I like goodfellas better
Colton Johnson
vastly prefer casino, but the more pertinent comparison of early/mid 90s scorsese films is age of innocence and casino, imo (in which case age>>>>>>>>>>>>everything else)
