If you don't mind the wierd fucking dreams take melatonin at 9 pm. You'll be asleep by 9:30. Its what I do to reset my sleep patterns.

That's what my wife does.

I call her starfish.

Alternatively just try and stay up until around 7 PM at night, then go to sleep. Staying up for 24 hours is not difficult

stay up longer and longer until your sleeping schedule gets so fucked that it overlaps onto your normal one

just 1mg of Melatonin, and then lay down and embrace the sleep. NO COFFEE/caffeine after 5 pm

Melatonin doesn't work on some people. If it doesn't work for you what I do when I'm switching back from nights I force myself to stay up all day.

Melatonin is basically a natural sleep hormone that gets released into your systems a few hours prior to sleeping, I think I've heard it's "over the counter" in america.

Melatonin is apparently naturally produced in your body. (not saying the drugs arent bad but still) Me and my little brother have taken them since we were kids and we had no side affects. A bottle will prob cost you like 10 dollars

Do you eat before going to sleep OP? Cus if you're eating salt with sugar (my case is soda and a burger) right before bed you'll end up being awake for quite a while.

Yea i been around much of the earth but never Japan, always kinda wanted to visit, their culture looks soo interesting.

NCIS is an American action police procedural television series.. Watched it when i was younger.

maybe, man; i didn't even have any jet lag or anything to get on this sweet schedule.

If your schedule is clear and you won't have interruptions you can try going to sleep later, by 2 or so hours per night. It may be difficult at first, but I find it more consistent and in line with what my body wants to do than forcing myself to go to bed early and risking waking up after only 1-2 hours.
Good luck OP, obvious advice but if you can stay away from computers and other screens with blue light 1-2 hours before sleeping, avoid excercise, doing anything in your bed that isn't sleeping and doing any task that requires an active mind before bed.

Just take some zzzquil for a couple of nights, works all the time for me.

I suffer from the same thing, OP. It sucks. I have a sleeping medication that I sometimes take but it makes me feel drugged instead of just sleepy. I don't like it. Never tried Melatonin supplements.

thats literally everyone that cant sleep at night. its so common that im surprised psychologists havnt come up with a name for it yet. its probably people with a.d.d. or something that suffer from this annoying as fuck disorder

psychopass was so anticlimactic. it was a good show but season 2 shouldve wrapped up the whole robot brain army controlling everything storyline, but instead just copied season 1 exactly and did fuckall. kinda stupid to just leave it that way at the end of season 1 if they wernt gonna finish it up in s2

I take Restavit - one or two tablets - before sleeping whenever I want to fix my schedule.

It's non-prescription, cheap, and most of the time, one tablet is enough to put me to sleep.

However, you should see a doctor first to see if you have any heart problems, problems breathing and other medical stuff before you use it.

It makes you feel a little sluggish the next day, so it should only be taken when you know you aren't gonna be driving or operating complex machinery/doing a lot of work the next day.

Also, you shouldn't use it more than 10 nights consecutively. But this is a no brainer since it should only take you one night to fix your schedule from there on in.
