List any movie as good as the ending of Interstellar, or like Apollo 13

>inb4 "Gravity"
that movie was absolutely dogshit

>Interstellar, or like Apollo 13
>thinks Gravity was shit

Holy titfuck, are you me?

Did you like the Martian/have you watched it? If so give that a go. Or if you like disaster films, try Deep Impact, or Armageddon (they're pretty similar, but both great films).

I saw the Martian, it was cool, but it somehow didn't have that umpf that Interstellar and Apollo 13 did.
Also no, I'm not you cause K hated Armageddon as much as I hated Gravity, both for the same reason

Huh fair enough. Armageddon was pretty "MURICA FUCK YEAH". Have you seen Deep Impact? Maybe you'll like that. It's a bit more serious that Amrageddon was.

How good is deep impact tho?

My favorites in no particular order are

Dog Man 2
Callington
Why Blow the Fast Pace
Father, Let Me
Dancing with Karvo
Patro
Blistering Heat 2
The Followers of Martin McMartin
Di-Kreshé, di-Lavarisha
The Record of Haunts
Tough Time (the one with Kevin Blank)
Friends in Friends

More like Apollo 13. Same premise though. Also try Super 8, that was good

>Gravity
great fx for zero g and clooney was alright but it was just sandra bollocks hyperventilating and fucking up constantly for 80% of the film.

2001 a space odyssey is always great

>2001 a space odyssey

>as good as the ending of Interstellar

so a bad movie?

No, literally everything about that movie was complete shit. As a person deeply tied to aerospace engineering and theoretical physics, I fucking hated how shitty and unrealistic that movie was. It's one of those movies that's designed to be justified off of being realistic but isn't.

On the other hand 2001 a space oddesy is a really good idea, I'm writing that down.

Pandorum is pretty good.

Edgy Sci Fi.

Interstellar was very "meh" in the middle, because a) pretty cheesy characters b) they were talking to eachother about shit like time dilation to eachother. Bitch if you're flying a rocket into a black hole, you better have been born knowing what time dilation is.

What do u guys think of Mr. Nobody? Is it an epic movie or no?

U should also try the sequal to it also. I didn't find it not as good cuz it wasn't a Kubrick film but it does answer a lot of the questions that arise in 2001 S.O.
Was sorta the purpose for it
Its called 2010 something ...can't recall ATM.

Check out The Prestige or The Revenant

I liked it. If u like movies that are sorta like cloud Atlas or the life of pi. Those are all up there as my favorites.
Or if u like stuff with time project almanac was pretty good too.

Tell me if you remember what it's called, in that case

...

If you're looking for sci fi then Sunshine or Europa Report

Oh shit thanks for reminding of of the name of that movie (The Revenant). I'll watch it soon

Not just sci fi. God-teir shit.
Sunshine was on par with Gravity and Armageddon

It obviously wasn't meant to be realistic, hence the super powered sun man

No, bad is an understatement

Interstellar was fucking dog shit, the ending being the worst part.

The signal is also a classic...I still have yet to watch it tho.

>god tier
>armageddon

Jesus you people dont know anything about movies

I still have no idea what I was watching at the end of that film....

Didnt hate it tho.

I k that, well it's somewhat better than armagheddon and gravity, but still

Armagheddon was complete dogshit. Literally as bad as Gravity, if not worse

Omfg literally just watched interstellar like 30 seconds ago.. Incredible. Just thought I would say. :3

How does it feel to have shit taste in movies?

The ending to interstellar was bullshit. Basically Nolan said that love is a tangible force. So fucking stupid.

Moon
2001
Sunrise
Solaris

>tfw no Foundation movie

You're the one with the shit taste in movies here. Why are u in this thread in the first place....

Oh my gos, need to look up moon. I heard a soundtrack from it and thought it sounded epic

>2001 a space odyssey is always great
This! Also I'd advice to read the book afterwards since, despite the differences, they make a pretty solid Audiovisual work - Literary work pair and contains much more in-depth explanations that could compliment your own interpretations.

Not that. It was cool for dicking around with the 5th special dimension. Totally unrealistic, but it reminded me of Michio Kaku's book "Hyperspace"

Sharknado

Chupacabra vs. The Alamo

i could see most of those being titles of gay porn

LMAO!
Wtf r u doing here

>Not posting the only good sci-fi movie ever

Lmao hopeing OP will watch a D-Class movie hahaha

OP here
Lmao that's what I was thinking

Contact.

"LOVE IS THE 4TH DIMENSION"

FUCK OFF

Sunshine.

For something really interesting, watch it with the commentary with astrophysicist Brain Cox who was the science adviser on the film and the person the astrophysicist character was based on.

>likes interstellar
>says other people have shit taste in movies

Ok buddy

Pandorum is so good.

Anyone got a movie like Oldboy?

Or something as good as

>Complete dog shit
Just like your spelling.

what the hell is that list? Are they even movies?

Forget being gullible I'm also picky right now about finding the right kind of movie. Lookin at ppl that said Moon and 2001, gonna probably watch one of those right now
