If you skip the first 80 minutes you have a decent war/action flick. The attack itself is pretty spectacular. Then watch until you get bored and turn it off.

Bay has talked about how he wanted to make a war movie and producers forced the love triangle aspect to cash in on "Titanic" and it shows, the actual bombing of Pearl Harbor is outstanding.
