Why would you recommend Carnival In Babylon and not their first three albums, Phallus Dei, Yeti, and Tanz Der Lemminge?
Phallus Dei, Yeti, Tanz Der Lemminge
>Schulze
Irrlicht, Cyborg, Timewind, Picture Music, Moondawn, Blackdance; his drumming in Ash Ra Tempel's self-titled debut, and Join Inn.
Check out Ash Ra Tempel's self-titled, Schwingungen, Seven-Up, Join Inn, and a few others for more Manuel goodness.
I just love Carnival in Babylon, though all of them all great.
I'm not a fan of any of their work post-Tanz to be honest. Wolf City could've been grand if they included a separate LP of improvisations but for some reason they just stopped giving a fuck.
yeah, it's in my top 5 albums of all time for a reason, i mean...just listen to it
Is there a "Krautrock" sound at all? Seems like a meaningless musical tag when it can be avant-garde electronic music, jazz improvisation, drone, funk, synthpop, space rock, etc. etc. or a combination of those or none at all.
It was just label created by British journalists to mock with German people
Why? Outside of a one hand count British people make terrible music
GOAT
The world may never know. Just a fact of life.
