Tell me again how a police detective in Miami is able to afford a $250000 car? Not to mention the upkeep and insurance cost on a Ferrari which makes the purchase price look cheap.

He won the Florida lotto.

He is the son of a billionair.
The police job is only for "fun"

its confiscated narc property

and just for the transpo

Is that canon? I never knew

It's a very nice car. How much should I be making a year before I get one of these Ferrari convertibles?

I make $110k at the moment.

I keep clicking on this thread but NO ONE IS REPLYING TO ME.

I made a really good post guys

...

150k base (murdered by taxes), year end (usually jan/feb) bonsues (usually 150% - 250% of base)

It's not

All the vehicles they drove were seized from drug lords

They also seize drug money and shit that's how they afford to be dressed in expensive clothes all the time

It's a side effect of the "VICE"

I have $4500 net currently but I'm in my early 20s.

What do you do with your money because I'm just saving it and not buying much. I'm not sure how much I need to earn in order to afford a sports car like this.

They probably stole it from a drug lord

same with their clothes etc

But in real life vice aren't allowed to keep drug money legally, right?

It depends, in the show, they are considered such valuable assets (including under cover) to the department that they can basically be loose cannons, blow shit up, take some of the drug money home, go on high speed chases, the department turns a blind eye because they are so effective at combating crime, as long as they turn in the criminals and a majority of the assets, if they keep some of it, it's all good

It's an excuse for the show to be cool

Don't they sell vehicles and shit that they seize? It seems strange but i don't see why they wouldn't be able to.

I'm in my early 20's and have $22,000

Don't brag until you reach $10,000 user, you have a long ways to go

>I'm in my early 20's and have $22,000

Honestly I don't believe you, because I know what bankers make when they're starting their career and it's nowhere near that much. You could only be self employed.

He was a rent boy.
His anus was an ex circus performer.
Worth every dollar.

I'm 30, own a 750K house (300K mortgage' have 100K in savings (mortgage offset account) and a 50K car (own outright)

>federal income tax
>state income tax
>city income tax

What the fuck murrica.

There was another show that used this concept in the early 2000s called Fastlane, loose cannon buddy cops who have access to all the confiscated cars and weapons and loot from busts use it to go after big targets. Tiffani Amber Thiessen (Saved By the Bell's Kelly) plays their sexy shady boss. Pretty comfy show

lol

You're 15, live in a double wide trailer with your single mom and have a skateboard.

>its a hes over the age of 20 and doesn't have more money than a teenager who works part time episode

You're dumb if you're not investing that shit.

invest everything in SNP 500

retire at 40

>invest in SNP 500 to beat the devaluation of currency
>SNP dips down 500 points

kill me

>investing in a meme country thats about to collapse

That doesn't even include the other half of the Social Security and Medicare taxes that his employer has to pay for the privilege of compensating their workers.

America's tax system is utterly fucked and neither side wants to do anything to fix it for their own selfish reasons

>Owning more vehicles than you have to
They just a vacuum for money

>Don't brag until you reach $10,000 user

Is this really a feat for americans? I had that much when i was 18

>16k saved

Nigger I've been working 1 year and saved 10k already.

>Not spending all your money on booze and cigarettes and other frivolous bullshit

You fucking faggots do realize he was talking about his NET MONTHLY INCOME right?

>its a I inherited some cash, what object should I buy to compensate for my dead parents episode

Retarded consumer culture

They have to take debt just to pay them off and improve their "credit score"

credit = freedomns and live above means bullshit
