Luckily, the Australians and the two of us have the right of it.

>this flag

>smibbly bibbly is called a "remote"

>Cold-on-the-cob is called a "popsicle"

>use hand to throw an egg
>"football"

Australia America Japan world takeover when?

>soccer is called "football"
Nope, it's futbol.

dumb frogposter

>called futbol
>foot isn't called a "fut" and ball isn't called "bol"
As an American studying abroad, I've been trying to find out what they mean by this? And why they shit on naming the sport something completely unrelated like soccer when they do it themselves

>What are loan words?

>Football
>use feet on ball

>American "football"
>Kick ball once, then carry it between some line like bunch of retards while everyone makes monkey noises

>Soccer
>word with no meaning at all

Only special retards use soccer, ever.

>he doesn't know soccer comes from association football
Stick to your own language, Marko.

Now, Americans call their sport "football" because it's played on foot, but then they play with an egg and not with a ball, so at best it can only be called "footegg".

Soccer is short for association football.

The ball is 12 inches long. It's a foot-ball.

That makes it an egg, not a ball.

USA is short from United States of America, UK is short for United Kingdom, FAG is short for FAGgot

Pointer me to the CER part of AsSOCiation FOOTBALL, you special retards.

>soccer
>association football

Explain how that makes any fucking sense.

It's like how rugger comes from rugby football, if that helps.

nah it's like 11

and I understand it sounds weird, but if you say "football" instead of soccer when talking about the sport in America, you're just a pretentious douche

if you're shitposting in euro threads on here, you should just use football because you'll just end up triggering people and it will derail the thread

Sounds like a cute word to use just because they don't want to make handegg any less special.

>people call soda "pop"

>I measure in inches

it doesnt even remotely look like an egg, I never understood this

>Mexicans dont call it PiePelato
