Five best Soccer Games Ever:

2 - Pro Evolution Soccer 5
3 - FIFA Soccer 95

The France 98 game for n64 was my fave.
...
PES 5 is my fav but isn't 6 considered to be the GOAT PES?
>no pes 4
Pes 2016 seems surprisingly good but I've only played the demo
Yeah my fav pes is also 2005
I wanted it but the pc versionis a port of the ps3 version, dropped
>EA will never include fireball shots in their new FIFA games ever again.
>ISIS Pro Evolution
Do tell.
>no nintendo world cup
ISS Pro Evolution
>not ISS Pro Evolution 2
Kys
>Everytime a goal is scored an infidel is brought to the pitch and beheaded mashallah
>tfw there was a football game once where you could dive
I don't remember the name, I got it as part of a special package with my PS 2 (alongside Gran Turismo)
It was quite fun, not as good as PES (which was clearly the best at that time), but still quite fun.
You could dive in PES 2008
Most of the time you'd get yellow carded for that though, it would only work under certain circumstances
ISS '98 was the peak. all downhill since then.
FIFA World cup 2006 was the last really good one
Really?
I think I skipped 2008
Anyway, 'This is Football 2005' was the name of the game where you could dive, too
>You now remember editing the teams in PES 2008 to put Kaka, Torres, Pirlo, Adriano and Henry in the same squad
Literally 15-0ing all teams. When pace and perfect passes weren't enough you could still give the ball to Adriano, shoot from wherever the fuck you want and score a goal.
PES2008 was underrated imho - it was just fun.
Also, sensible soccer needs to be in any list.
Also, you were able to play with school teams.
The games were played in school yards with goals made out of clothes
You can still dive in PES. It hasn't changed.
ISS had the good point of allowing you to quickle the GK, besides that, ISS Pro 2 is the best ever by far, just for >Mboma and his shoes.
from a purely technical standpoint, sensible world of soccer.
you could dive in a lot of games
also, on topic PES 6>>>>PES 5
people still play SWOS Online
www.swosit.com
www.sensiblesoccer.de
I think that game was This Is Football, that was a lot of fun
gif related
fifa 95, at least the sega version (not even entirely sure SNES had one) had cool menu music
>in international superstar soccer 98 you could dive
>in fifa 95 you could punch your opponent
>in iss deluxe you could elbow to the opponent
Mah nigga
>mfw no memory pack because poorfag
I liked the Classic World Cup mode, that was the first time I knew that URgay won to WC twice
Fifa 16
Fifa 15
Fifa 14
Fifa 13
Fifa 12
in that order
PES 11 is the eternal GOAT
Must be fun being 14 years old.
What's the one on an early Sega console where the view is top down and each player is literally just two blobs for shoulders and one blob for head
It's even better when you realise the characters are from that River City Ransom fighting game
how come punching never made it to modern fifa, is it some weird ESRB rating bullshit or just EA's anti-fun policy?
ISS Pro Evo 2
Sensible Soccer
International Superstar Soccer Deluxe
Championship Manager
Ultimate Soccer
World Class Soccer
I still play it with my son
ye. kunio kun games were top.
Sensible world of soccer 96-97
Great taste
Still play International Superstar Soccer every now and again
Fifa 99
>Wasting all your money transferring Bergkamp to Sheffield Wednesday
>Ronaldo not being licensed so he's called Calcio
>Changing the team names
>Endless skill moves
>L1 run up and foul button
>Slide tackling the keeper
it has everything
This game was the fucking GOAT of all sports games, tied with only NFL Blitz
>no Goal
>no Actua Soccer
into the trash you go.
>no backyard soccer
>no mega man soccer
>not a power rankings
>brazil
ur fuckin gay m8
Definitely not the best, but the first FIFA street was great.
Fifa 07 had the best music, ballack could blootah from anywhere, Nigeria could fuck up anyone with martins pace, France was an untouchable meme, Italy was god-tier+Toni's headers everywhere, Arsenal wasn't complete SHITE, Spain was underrated, ronaldinho.jpg
This was the end of all things great about the early 2000s
/thread
it was This is Football
FIFA International Soccer
FIFA RTWC 98
Winning Eleven 6
These will always have a special place in my heart.
Great thread, user. God bless.
I wish more games would continue the full WCQ format like FIFA 98 had. It was brilliant for the fans of international football. PES is the only thing close to it today. It's a disgrace that FIFA completely neglects international football in the name of profit.
ISS 64
ISS 98 for n64
those were the games I played the most and made me have lots of fun
youtube.com
only right answer
...
Original ISS is GOAT
>Fifa
Fifa was always trash
This and FIFA '96 on Genesis. I believe it had indoor soccer as well? Actually, that was when EA was at it's best!
NBA Live '96 (all of those hidden legends)
Triple Play '96/Gold (see above)
FIFA '96
Madden '96 (hidden teams)
NHL '96
Gaming was fun!
>they don't know about Microprose Soccer
youtube.com
ISS, i still have it
fifa 98

which team was your favourite SP?
Was I the only one who played this game?
>no FM
kys casual ape fuck
Goal 3
1 - ISS Deluxe
2 - Super Soccer
3 - Striker
that's it.
oh, also Premier Manager '99
really good, but Soccer League was way better. more meme shots, could jump, weather effects etc. pic related
actually, of the more recent ones, FIFA 09-12 were fucking great, with one those being a legit contender for goat(depending on who you ask). those years you really felt that they were putting effort into making the games better with major features like 360 degree dribbling and impact engine. most of those were really down years for PES, though they've recovered nicely since then.
There was a game that came with a box of frosties that was strangely addictive.
Forgot the name
Has anyone tried the new Kick Off yet ?
I don't have a PS4, but for what I've seen it's just Kick Off 2 with ""better"" graphics.
Same gameplay (press X to shoot, tackle, etc...), same game (with no offside).
That seems fucking great !
Dino Dini is a fucking genius (or hack) !
same, still play it with my brother at christmas yearly
>Amazing Soundtrack
>Blooters for days once you got good
Shit I still play it to this day.
Triple Play was the goat baseball series.
Nostalgia fags are the worst cancer, modern videogames are objectively superior
As a psychologist I must tell you, you don't like these old games, you hate your present life. Your last memory of "happiness" was when you were a kid and spent all your time playing shitty fooball simulators
In other words, kys nerds
that chumbawamba song was such a jam
>ctrl + f
>no Red Card Soccer
Did you people seriously not play this
>PES 5
>not PES 6, the GOAT
>cross it from the edge of the centre circle and head it past the jumping keeper every time
>not RTWC98
I got so mad when I missed a Pen, that I kicked the cartidge while being IN the N64. Broke the contacts of the game. Fucking Sammer, why did you miss.
In ISS 2000 for N64 you could definitelly dive, I think tapping sprint twice quikc or something like that. It was really cool, because somtimes you got the freekick, sometimes you could get a yellow for it. Was amazing for the time. Also loved all the animations (substitutes, the injurys, meds comming on the pitch with ice spray, change of captain bind etc. etc.
german version had Andreas Möller on it, kek, I thought all version had him.
1. FIFA 06
2. FIFA 09
3. This is Football 2005
4. FIFA 12
5. PES 6
...
>Fifa 13
>PES 06
>Fifa 08
>Fifa 12
>Fifa 11
Fifa 2000 is the best ever
It was my first football game, but not my last...
>Fifa 12 not ranked
>best Soccer Games
FIFA 16
FIFA 15
FIFA 14
FIFA 13
FIFA 12
Are you guys fucking retarded?
Holy shit! What a goal!
Fifa 2002 had hebrew commentators and I still remember some phrases they said.
Also the joy of winning the champions league with hapoel tel aviv when I had Zidane and Shevchenko.
>i'm 12 and what's this
>no hat trick hero 2
Was that the one where you could assault the players and referee?
I really liked Actua Soccer 3, FIFA WC98 as a close second
Fifa 04
Unreal soundtrack and had a manager mode ahead of its time
Yeah soundtracks for 05/06/07 were great
Franz ferdinand, bloc party, hard-fi... I discovered bloc party through fifa 06, one of my favourite bands now
Fifa 98, PES 2013 and PES 6
literally the GOAT intro also
youtube.com
who remembers this one from fifa06
That year EA knew how to make intros
