I live in pic related. More specifically the Fox Valley area. I am having a whole lotta trouble with finding a music scene in the state. I know MKE has a cool rap, techno, and synthpop scene. I also know that Madison has a decent Indie/Folk scene, but is there any more?

I lived in Madison for 6 years. Great scene albeit mostly out-of-town bands playing shows.
Isn't Eau Claire pretty good too though? Mr. Bon Iver is from there
December 8, 2016 - 10:43
Hey guess what our music scene is trash.
I hope you like stale country rock, warp tour wannabes, and their older brothers who play garbage watered down post-hardcore commuting from DC!

December 8, 2016 - 13:09
If you want good music from NOVA, try Doldrums. Post-rock from the late 90s, from Fairfax.
I guess you could count Car Seat Headrest, who was from Loudoun and make a couple of good albums.
