ITT: Music Scene

I live in pic related. More specifically the Fox Valley area. I am having a whole lotta trouble with finding a music scene in the state. I know MKE has a cool rap, techno, and synthpop scene. I also know that Madison has a decent Indie/Folk scene, but is there any more?

Also music scene General
Post your music scenes where you live

Also, there's some decent math stuff. Check out Alta. I used to go to high school with two of the members.

What about here? pic related

Northern Virginia????

I lived in Madison for 6 years. Great scene albeit mostly out-of-town bands playing shows.

Isn't Eau Claire pretty good too though? Mr. Bon Iver is from there

Hey guess what our music scene is trash.

I hope you like stale country rock, warp tour wannabes, and their older brothers who play garbage watered down post-hardcore commuting from DC!

Yeah I didn't really expect much desu I just thought I would ask.

Anything in Wichita, KS?

HELP ME

I live in Madison and this band leaves near me and I hear them play sometimes. Pretty solid.

Solid. Needs better mixing/mastering imo

I know there is a couple of guys who post in Soundcloud and bandcamp threads from madison/milwaukee

yea, but venues have drastically died down. There aren't any house/diy venues anymore either

>Fox Valley

There is the New Moon in oshy
Mile of Music in August in Appleton
Reptile palace and Titan underground lounge in oshy too

Thats all that I can think of
Mostly punk and indie shit-tier acoustic pop/folk

I'm in Virgina Beach and ready to participate in a drug suicide pact hmu if interested and in sandbridge

Do you have a band name or bandcamp?

Yea man send me an email through bandcamp, I hardly check facebook

Thanks man. Much Love
I'll do the same

who /seattle/ here?

Does the greater Seattle area have a good scene? considering moving there to finish schooling so im curious.

If you want good music from NOVA, try Doldrums. Post-rock from the late 90s, from Fairfax.

I guess you could count Car Seat Headrest, who was from Loudoun and make a couple of good albums.

idk i was asking because i'm gonna be visiting in december for a couple weeks
