That is a particularly good one.

Love Minus Zero/No Limit
"My love, she speaks like silence
Without ideals or violence
She doesn't have to say she's faithful
Yet she's true like ice, like fire
People carry roses
And make promises by the hour
My love she laughs like the flowers
Valentines can't buy her"

Faggots, the lot of you.

Goddamn it why bother with music, when Dylans already perfected it?

this desu, one of the goat dylan songs

When you're posting on "Contrarian: The Board" what do you expect?

OOH
MAMA
CAN THIS REALLY BE THE END?

Fourth Time Around, Idiot Wind, Ballad of a Thin Man, Farewell Angelina and Mama you been on my mind.

TO BE STUCK INSIDE OF MOBILE WITH THE
DOUBLE TRIPS AGAIN

shelter from the storm from hard rain is one of my absolute favorites

mississippi is still my #1 though

Top 5 Basement Tapes tracks, go:

>I'm Not There
>You Ain't Goin' Nowhere
>Goin' to Acapulco
>People Get Ready
>The Hills of Mexico

I really love Things Have Changed, even though it's late era Dylan, it's just a very fun track

>tears of rage
>minstrel boy
>santa-fe
>i'm not there
>this wheel's on fire

Yo I really liked Harvest Moon.

Dylan was great in that

>all these contrarians not choosing Girl from the North Country

Which version? Nashville Skyline or Freewheelin'? Personally, for me both versions are ruined by a slip-up, even though his slip-ups are sometimes fun (even though I think it almost ruins the joke on Ballad of a Thin Man), I genuinely like that song and would prefer a proper version.

not that user but i prefer the freewheelin version

Blind Willie McTell and I Shall Be Released are two of my favorites but there are oh so many.

Ho shit, I didnt even notice

Anyone else not a fan of this album? On first listen it was good, but it just doesn't hold up anywhere near as well as his others. In some weird way this feels more aged then all the stuff he did before it . ISIS is easily the best track, but otherwise its unimaginative in its writing and over produced.

I feel similarly but a lot of kids seem to love it and claim it's better than Blood on the Tracks

The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind

It's musically Dylan's best album and I'd argue that the last 3 songs are some of the best of Dylan's career. It's in his top 5.

>Top 5
But BIABH, H61, BoB, JWH and BOtT exist

Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands

What about Oh, Sister and One More Cup of Coffee?

Joey has to be one of the worst songs he released up to that point in his career.

It's better than Bringing It All Back Home at least.

No it isn't

lol. BIABH is literally the album that defined rock music in its infancy. Subterranean Homesick Blues was his first no.1, and the B-side was a move away from protest lyrics to a more introspective and profound folk pop. And on top of all that context the music was fucking great. BIABH is one of my favorite all time records

Rainy day women

nah nigga

meh
You forgot the part where most of the album sounds like studio throwaways of Dylan getting a bit more comfortable with a style that he hasn't yet mastered.

Ballad of a Thin Man

Dylan is a bit overrated though in all honesty

>yfw tambourine man, gates of eden, it's all right ma and baby blue are all first takes

bizarre orchestration amd super clean production. Its ultimately subjective but Dylan sounded way more out of his element on Desire compared to BiABH. Not only that but nothing on Desire touches Mr.Tambourine Man or Its All Over Now Baby Blue imo

holy fuck, I didnt even know.(got a source?) I love dylan desu

tangled up in blue and stuck inside of mobile (take 13)

That's a funny way of spelling Positively 4th St.
