The most experimental hip-hop album of the decade

the most experimental hip-hop album of the decade

these beats are like soooo weird lmao like what drugs was this guy on you know?

dude lsd lmao

Got to admit that "It ain't funny" is one of the best produced songs i've ever listening, and I hate hip-hop.

it blew

At times it sounds like piƱata

This. That track really gets under my skin.

you must just have a thing for goofy circus music

White lines is pretty damn good, and I don't even listen to rap.

xxx is danny browns only good album and its also the best rap album of all time how did that happen

he was just making hungry music instead of making music for rockists and metacritic points

yep. db will never be good again unless he becomes poor and desperate. but this is true for almost every rapper and never happens

did danny brown sing xxx or was it a bunch of random rappers?

not when this exists

not even the most experimental dg album

>search Youtube for songs from that album
>one is a completely different song but with a Danny Brown title and artwork
>it's actually better than Danny Brown
Everything went better than expected.

trips telling the truth

AIN'T IT?

...

Pretty experimental, fantastic album, one of my favorites this year

lel, death grips memes

my favorite is Tell Me What I Don't Know

Enlighten us on how it isn't then.

because government plates exists

this album wouldnt exist without Yeezus

kek

this

nice joke m8

Government Plates is similar in terms of philosophy, but feel more like throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks, half of the songs aren't even fleshed out.

niggas on the moon took what they started on on Government Plates and turned it into a cohesive project, with fully fleshed out songs, that are way more complex in nature than those of GP. I don't see how GP is more experimental. I'll give it "Birds" though, that is one of their most unique tracks ever.

t. fantano

>too pleb to get into gp

>half of the songs aren't even fleshed out
not true btw

No, I love Government Plates, I just do not see what is more experimental about it.

Feel free to explain what makes it more experimental.

niggas on the moon way way better.

more depth and creative approach in one song off of NOTM then the entirety of that danny album. he hasnt wrote anything creative since XXX

my man

>implying yeesus would exist without dg

>rip off Type O Negative's cover design
>rip off book title from a book he's never read because theres hipster cred from an unrelated song title

How is stealing other, better, artists best moments innovative or experimental in hip hop?

this is the best of the decade
this is the most experimental
this is the 2nd best

>rip off Type O Negative's cover design
not very similar.

>rip off book title from a book he's never read
except he got it from a Joy Division song, which he was influenced by Joy Division on this album

so your arguments that the music isn't innovative have nothing to do with the actual music?

now now billy, not really

>rap
>music

pick one

go to bed grandpa

XXX is more out there
