It's the single double session of darting action from Blackpool as half of the field begin their World Matchplay campaigns.
The afternoon session, as always, has Sky stuff in the lesser name matches but there are some intriguing encounters in those four games. /180/ suffers a moral quandary first with the realisation that either Family Guy's Stephen Bunting or kebab remover Mensur Suljovic will go early. Kim Huybrechts, whose last television appearance saw him sacrifice his own brother against MVG only to shit himself against Barney, then faces Welsh muscleman Gerwyn Price who famously dumped Snackpot out of the tournament last year. Lovable failure Terry Jenkins is up next against the completely out of sorts midget whiner Justin Pipe, with the human branch of Wickes Ian White facing the Winter Gardens' first threat of an IRA massacre in Daryl Gurney in the closer.
The other non-Taylor Matchplay champion in James Wade faces annoying irritant and constant excuse maker Mervyn King in the evening's opener, with morbidly obese Stokie Adrian Lewis next against the wobbling Welshman Mark Webster, whose recent good form in the Worlds, Grand Slam & World GP has evaporated. World Champion Gary Anderson plays the last Matchplay debutant in Alan Norris, with the speed quick enough so the Scotsman won't job out like he did here last year, and ending the day's action are midlife crisis man and "Scotsman" Peter Wright and Joe Cullen, who has finally performed like everyone expected him to do so since his breakthrough years ago.
Coverage starts at 1:00pm BST on Sky Sports 3, with the evening session starting at 7:00pm BST on Sky Sports 2.

How many of those fist pumps has Thornton made last night? One for each lost leg?

Still hoping they both get through in a dramatic event where Pipe gets disquallified for slow play and jenkins wants to do his "bull" signature move and stabs himself in the head and is out injured.

Clutch D4 from Mensur after Bunt had just missed the 132.
John Sanchez
I still have to see a leg which is not important for anybody when scores are close.

That would be hilarious. Someone should do that at the world championship, would love to see the reactions and how long they will be banned.
>16: Vincent van der Voort - £201,500 >17: Mensur Suljovic - £201,250+
Mensur is now a Top 16 player with that win.
Wow.

Kim Huybrechts' Blackpool record:
>2012: T. Jenkins L 9-11 >2013: Wright L 4-10 >2014: King L 4-10 >2015: Wright L 5-10
So not as bad as Thornton's record but still shit.

Offer Dana a contract as a walk-on girl and dump Dana's husband against MVG round 1 in every tournament.

This. Seeing him lose is so much better when you haven't been seeing him win the rounds before.
