In the latest canon Star Wars novel from Disney, the main character, Joph Seastriker, is the child of two lesbian mothers, from a world where it's seen as a virtue for males to cry openly.
There are at least four genders in the book.
When a pilot guy playfully jabs Joph for failing a dare that involved drinking a very strong wine, Joph fires back that said squadmate has "been hitting the Corellian stuff pretty hard lately" and everyone laughs, as everyone knows the guy's "new man" is a Corellian.
The ride doesn't seem to be slowing.

What's the problem?

die slow you false flagging piece of filth

Between this and Weddig's novels, they haven't released anything decent that wasn't a deliberate retread in years.
Lucas did the deal 3/4 years ago. Think about that. They canceled a bunch of stuff, shuttered things, made terrible changes, basically did a remake of ANH and now..I'm not sure if Rogue One will rip off something else or if it will be original. Guess we'll find out. Disney, not even once.

Reminder that this exists. Cuck Wendig yes!

I can't believe these people get paid for their fanfiction

>is the child of two lesbian mothers, from a world where it's seen as a virtue for males to cry openly Okay. Why do we even know that?

Star Wars EU has always been a laughing stock but now it's a laughing stock that OFFENDS ME

I don't really get how someone so enraged by gay stuff can be so butthurt all the time. Unless...
Ryder Jones
Because it's important to hamfistedly state these things in the prose instead of giving nuanced writing. Muh progressiveness is kind of the new buzzword when it comes to Star Wars material.
Caleb Turner
Is Chuck Wendig the new JUST?
David Perez
Any news about this nigga?
James Phillips
how do you get into writing these novels? i could totally crank out star wars lesbian adventure stories
Jonathan Reyes
>EU has always been shit, but now it's shit being used to push a social agenda. >Don't point this out or you're just a whiny bebe. >Don't complain, just eat your shit.
Dylan Davis
He just won't stop. He has to get laid soon, right?

Who cares. Go outside.

I'm like 75% certain Rogue One will connect to the Episodes in a way that will leave it as a necessary watch to make sense of the mainline series even though it's not numbered
That being said I'm not keeping up with it that much
Logan Moore
>>>EU has always been shit Not true, a few early EU books about smugglers and bounty hunters were pretty entertaining pulp that was miles above the usual movie tie-in book quality.

Yet they won't make Ahsoka go homo with Hera...
Jackson Wright
A sexy Sith defeats and captures a cute Jedi padawan but when they end up stranded on a hostile world she gradually teaches her hostage to be more tough, ruthless and decisive just as her new apprentice teaches her to be a little compassionate and loving.
When they finally escape the savage planet they find themselves on the run from Jedi and Sith orders that consider them both heretics, then somewhere in the fringes of deep space they work together to save the galaxy from an ancient, long forgotten threat.
That could be padded out to 8 or 12 novels and then a film adaptation starring Jessica Chastain and Kristen Stewart
Kayden Torres
"Sexy Sith" Oh so you're pandering to the male gaze and not making her a 400 lbs goddess, aren't you? Typical cishet white male opressor
Leo Morgan
I dont give a fuck
Anything after Return of the Jedi is non-canon including video games/books/comic books/animated series
Jackson Hall
If it makes you feel any better she's a violent misandrist who delights in easily butchering men in combat and only declines to murder the Padawan at the end of their first duel because she recognizes the young woman has only been brainwashed and oppressed by patriarchy and might be saved.
Parker White
Does she have hairy legs and pits?
Alexander Smith
This.
Hudson Reyes
Personally I'm 100% sure that the whole wrapping a cable around the legs of an AT-AT thing is going to be revealed to be a technique developed by iRebel
Caleb Cruz
I have no issue with gay characters as long as they fit nicely into the star wars universe without feeling like they are there just because they are gay. Lords of the Sith has a lesbian character that feels completely natural to the story without her sexualy being shoehorned in at all.
On the other side of the spectrum, Aftermath literally has 5 gay characters in it, and non of them serve any purpose other than to include more gay characters.

>reading star wars fanfics
Nicholas Watson
I stopped reading Aftermath because of the guy's choppy, filled with colons: writing way before any gay character appeared. The book sucks.
