FUCK meant to put 2005

*since 1934

Just because german politics isn't as volatile as yours does not mean its a dictatorship.

Bertie Ahern was taoiseach here for eleven years for example.

>taoiseach

Because she doesn't have dictatorial powers and is elected into office every time.
Term limits are not necessary condition of democracy, although in this case at least some Germans may be regretting not having them.

"taoiseach" is such a cool title, but how the fuck does it sound?

"tooshay"

HOW IS SHE GETTING VOTED average german must know what is going on! my cousin is married to a german and he hates how germany is now

Tea-Shock

or Tea-Shig if you are gerry adams

Twat sheikh

Wah lah

If a german votes anything other than left they fear being seen as neo-nazis.

Too-Seek

How the fuck did I get this many (you)s?

There is a parliament pushing through law, not her. Learn how it works.

>she is doig a great job for Germany's economy
>let's kick her out because of autistic reasons

fun fact:
the borders of the EU is pretty much the same as the 3rd Reich

the third reich didnt have borders, only occupied territories

you get what I mean

Well, yes - both were in almost the whole Europe, therefore the EU is the same as nazism!

That's a brilliant logic.

it's a kitty

desperate straw grasping

i'm a bold thinker, a man of the times
that's pretty cool, saved

>implying this is a bad thing

Cute.

And now that the UK is out, the European union will resemble pic on the left even more

really makes me think

>Merkel
>Christian-Democrat party
>"Left"
If I had a penny every time a leaf said something retarded...

wtf??? i hate germany now

Blame american posters for brainwashing impressionable young leafs.

the people actually want her. there is tons of boomers and old people who will vote CDU no matter what comes.

>Blame americans
Words to live by

Germans love their Führers.
It's none of our business,
until they sperg out :^)

Stop blaming everything on us please

when you stop being responsible for it

Merkel is a conservative though

How is the Queen with her 200 year long reign not a dictator?

Delet dis nao

Yes, a "conservative" that's pro-mass migration.

You don't have to be an alt rightist to be a conservative.

But you do have to conserve to be a conservative. A true conservative would be a man like Shinzo Abe, who rejected the UN's demand for Japan to take in more refugees because they breed too fast and it would be impossible for Japan to assimilate them, creating a rift in their ethnically and culturally homogenous society.

>Inb4 "xDD le no true Scotsman fallacy"
Except we can clearly define what a conservative is and judge that Merkel's migration policy does not fall within its parameters. At best you could argue that she's a fiscal conservative, but that would only make sense upon applying the American definition of conservative. Under the more logical European definition, she's as far from conservative as it gets and downright progressive (or regressive as the fact may be).

She's a dictator.

She also opposes same sex marriage and has plenty of other conservative viewpoints. Judging her based on ONE issue is retarded.

Jesus, don't they have term limits?

>Judging her based on ONE issue is retarded.
Not when that one issue is so defining and so large it will transform German society for decades to come.

This is a main, hot topic issue. It isn't like she's a conservative who also happens to think gay marriage is fine, it's a "conservative" who has completely swayed the core idea of conservatism (slow, steady, pragmatic change only when required) in favor of rapid, radical and uncontrollable change.

What you really need to understand is that Europe barely has conservatives in the way America has them, and they're usually reduced to the fringes of society. Conservative has more or less become a four letter word over here.

It's only dictatorship when the others do it.

Because every other party except for the left and the AfD will go into a coalition with the CDU. She'll get into office again because she only has to pick enough coalition partners.

>Not when that one issue is so defining and so large it will transform German society for decades to come
Are you serious? I don't see any difference

No, instead we have a bunch of parties instead of just two

You understand why we need Ukraine in the EU?

>average german must know what is going on!
And the average German fucking loves it.

After one of Merkel's protégé's killed 12 innocents and savagely wounded dozens more, Merkel became MORE popular with the German people. They're quite literally asking for seconds.

classic memeable fill in the blank post mate

That doesn't do any good if you keep electing the same one famski

When there are actually multiple options to choose from, term limits are usually not necessary.

why's that?
salt mines?

Thing is, that they are fixing the issue. And Merkel stands with it for her face for it, and that's why they are voting her. 700000 refugee applications got processed already and like 300000 got rejected and the people will be sent back.

Nah, to make the maps look even more similar

That's the point, we don't. New parties pops up every now and then.

straight border up to Estonia and needs to include Bosnia and all those little ones north of Greece

>we don't
The Germans obviously do

Why do you want the Africa of Europe

Merkel is center-right. Their last election was 4 years ago, a lot has changed.

>and the people will be sent back.

How are they planning to do it? Because so far it doesn't work.

The longer a leader stays in office, the more efficiently they can control the country. Just look at your FDR. Artificial constraints on who should be able to govern hinders the peoples ability to choose the person they find most capable.

>center-right
Maybe in an economic sense. She's pants on head leftist when it comes to importing millions of illiterate third worlders

>and the people will be sent back
You know that the guy who drove into a Berlin christmas market was one of those supposed "to be sent back" guys, right. Merkel opened the flood gates and learnes a very valuable lesson the hard way: third world migrants will come as you allow, but will not leave as you please.

Effective, sure. But is it a good thing if Merkel effectively runs her plan of making Southern Europe debt slaves to Germany, and German society itself a construct to serve a small elite? It's not exactly the common man who's benefiting from her open borders policy, it's the company owners who see their to be paid out wages reduce further and further, it's the investment bankers who see future debt and wage slaves to exploit.

>She's pants on head leftist when it comes to importing millions of illiterate third worlders
She said a few weeks ago that 2015 will never be repeated. She's also showing a will to deport immigrants again.

But so far it's only been talks and a deal with Turkey. She got a year to show she means it.

That was Russia-tier and that was in Germany.

Hope Die Linke does well.

>its another episode of the edgy Sup Forumstards inherently false world view

>"it's the company owners who see their to be paid out wages reduce further and further, it's the investment bankers who see future debt and wage slaves to exploit."

You know most of those refugees can't work, right? Which is exactly why they commit crime. Nothing keeping them busy=nothing good to be up to.

>"third world migrants will come as you allow, but will not leave as you please."
Except for the Bosnian refugees who for the most part were returned to Bosnia after the war, which was a pretty successful program.

She can say whatever, politicians say things all the time. Her words mean nothing. Castro said communism might have been a bad idea before he died, did that make him a Republican in his final years?

That was DDR tier and that was in BRD.

>compareing a rebel spic with a european leader

>Cubans
>not White and Germanic

>You know most of those refugees can't work, right?
What matters is not the number of people who work, but the number of people who can possibly work. Supply and demand. The ones who eventually become German citizens (and even if we assume only a quarter of them become Germans, that's still a quarter of a million each year) contribute to that number.

>Except for the Bosnian refugees who for the most part were returned to Bosnia after the war
Which might've helped if Germany's "refugees" actually came from Syria. Only an estimated half of them are actually from Syria, and most of them (like our Berliner killing friend) come from safe countries like the Maghreb nations. Their homes are already safe, they have no intention of going back.

B-BUT I CALLED YOU POL THAT MEANS YOU'RE WRONG

B-BUT I CALLED YOU KEK THAT MEANS YOU'RE WRONG

What? If he said communism wasn't good, then that would point towards him not being a republican, since all communist states are republics.

>communist
>state
Fuck off, Stalin.

>Communism failed
>But it wasn't real communism so let's try again
>Communism failed
>But it wasn't real communism so let's try again
>Communism failed
>But it wasn't real communism so let's try again
>et cetera ad infinitum

This proves either one of two things:
1. Communism did exist at one point and it failed horribly
2. Communism never existed, and it never existed because it's an unsustainable idea that cannot work.
The conclusion of both is the same: communism doesn't work. This is why with the exception of North Korea, all other remaining communist countries are either opening up their markets according to capitalist models (China) or communist in name only (Cuba).

...

>Open the borders for over 1 million undocumented "refugees literally fleeing the bombs of ISIS"
>not even half of them are actual Syrian refugees but Maghrebis and Mid-Easterners pretending
>increase in crime
>increase in terrorism
>Autism reasons

Also, she is not doing anything for the German economy, microjobs are not an improvement, just economical make-up. If anything the good she does is basically using the EU as a tool for the German economy at the expense of the other EU economies, and also by not messing too much with the big german industrialists and the SMEs, who are the ones that actually do something for the economy.

communism really only works in a post-scarcity society. in late capitalism where everything is so efficient it's effectively free, and in early communism where a society just distributes the cost of everything because the infrastructure is publicly owned and the associated costs are minimal, you can kinda get where kooky post-this-and-that-ism philosophies come from. especially today, where automation threatens 2/3 jobs, and will only infringe farther and drive the costs associated with production and service downwards.

which, amusingly enough, is a problematic stage in marxian historiography that marx et al pointed out. and it's something that the ussr's and maoist writers quietly discussed as well; they genuinely wondered whether they had attempted to form a communist nation too early in their nation's history.

i just find it amusing. if you actually pushed these free-market capitalist ideas to their logical extreme, but avoided dystopian ends, you'd end up with a setting where communism would just make sense because fuck it who wants to keep track of every nickel you spend on transit and groceries when it's all done by robots and you're getting paid federal mincome because there're literally no jobs except the extremely technical. the alternative would be a nation that rigs the whole of society so humans do arbitrary and artificial "work" and receive "wages," but in reality is a dystopian Kafkaesque nightmare designed to ensnare the average man in an inescapable system of loans and mind-numbing busiwork drudgery engineered to be just bearable enough that we don't kill ourself and just fulfilling enough that people continue to show up for "work."
