You can get into an average Canadian Tire Series car for $15,000 per race.
Buying a Super Truck or Super Stock is around $10,000. The races are routinely shitfests as described. Last time the trucks were out, half the field was destroyed on lap 7 of 100, and four trucks rode around for 95 laps, with the leader lapping the entire field.
Super Late Models aren't worth it, the track is too small, but the last ad I saw was $5K per race.
That's all before repairs and local track politics of getting in with the right people and not getting fucked over in some way during the event.
$1500 for 22 shitbox events is basically the way to go if you want to have FUN each Saturday.
