What the fuck was his problem?

What the fuck was his problem?

Hasn't had meaningful work since Friends ended.

He was just trying to train a competent company. He literally dindu nuffin

Implying Feed the Beast won't be chef/mobster kino

He didnt wanna believe his best bud Juice could commit such a heartless act.

His once unwavering support for his friend Juice has gradually unraveled in the wake of indefensible hard evidence.

he's still Uncle Juice

He was a good training Officer but terrible in the field, he wanted to lead men into combat and never got the chance. After the war he tried to kill himself by shooting himself in the head but it left him permanently blind instead, he died alone in an old folks home.

I finally realized I have an ugly doge, bros.
Do I kill it? I've never had an ugly pet before

Oh my god that's fucking horrible. I feel so bad now.

CONTRABAND

I've seen uglier, but what the fuck is wrong with his eyes?

this
war ain't no game and he tried to discipline his soldiers the best he could.
Of course he was a terrible field commander (which obviously took a lot of stress since he was responsible for dozens of lives)
He cared for the Easy Company and it's a shame that they never respected him.

>Oh my god that's fucking horrible. I feel so bad now.
He died of malnutrition and he never had a funeral service, thats how much he was hated.

>tfw in real life after the war that guy tried to kill himself but ended up blinding himself for life instead

>In the late 1960s, Sobel shot himself in the head with a small-caliber pistol.[9]
>The bullet entered his left temple, passed behind his eyes, and exited out the other side of his head.
>This severed his optic nerves and left him blind.[9]
>He was later moved to a VA assisted living facility in Waukegan, Illinois.
>Sobel resided there for his last seventeen years until his death due to malnutrition on September 30, 1987.[9]
>No services were held for Sobel after his death.[9]

don't harm that dog you piece of shit

He did train a competent company, he was just a really poor combat leader.

holy...
shit...
there must be something he did, that the stories and historical record, left out.

pls b fake

>died of malnutrition

VA, not even once

the guy took HIS sandwich

How do you die of malnutrition in a hospital in the late 80s?

welcome to government healthcare, user

I was just about to apply for a job with the VA but I was too late. I bet it would have been comfy

Some veteran's hospitals were really horribly managed. Scandal broke a few years ago.

Bernie Sanders was trying his socialism in hospitals back then.

why has he so upset ?
anyone knows any theories?

He was a fucking coward who could pretend to be a hardass but couldn't keep faking it under fire.

He was never under fire. Just fucked up with maps.

Nobody told him that life was gonna be this way.

He was on a break.

THEY WERE ON A WAR

Rachel never really loved him

A FENCE

What the fuck was his problem?

tactically inept

That pup is cute as shit. Give it to someone who will treat it better. You filthy fucking pleb.

PIVOT

People didnt pivot

his problem was ensuring a bunch of ungrateful cunts survived the war

he was missing his friends

Why the fuck was this green replacement acting like such a big guy?

He didn't even get to shoot someone after jumping out of a plane.

Simply, his ambitious far exceeded his capabilities, and he was too petty of a man to accept that. What he wanted was to raise up the greatest combat unit in the world, and lead them to glory and victory in battle. While he had the administrative acumen and discipline to be a great drillmaster, he lacked all the skillsets needed for field command, and had no charisma at all to inspire loyalty. Once regimental realized this, he was "kicked upstairs" to battalion/regimental positions and Easy was given a new CO.

That basically shattered him, and he stayed bitter about that years after the war. The last significant contact he had with old Easy comrades was with Clarence Hester in the early 60s, who recounted that he was still very bitter and angry about the whole thing. I think this perpetual bitterness he had (and his lack of charisma in general) caused him to push away everyone in his life, as by the time of his death he did leave behind an ex-wife and two children, none of whom arrived for his funeral.

It wasn't a hospital it was an assisted living center. Those places were (and still are) notoriously bad, especially when the members there have no family or friends.
