Despite the theme, the song comes out as pretty emotionless AND melodramatic. That may seem contradictory, but with the ridiculous intonation of the high pitched singer and the monotone of the other, it is quite possible. Musically dull.

Anyway, good riff to open a song, the piano comes in and adds emphasis where it is needed. It also proves to be the backbone of the song in a nice way, provides the structure for the guitar to play around. Bass is okay...
