What does Sup Forums think of Gary Johnson? Don't post retarded shit give me a good reason why you like or dislike him...think he has a chance?

I'd take him over Hillary but if I remember correctly he too supports the TPP.

He supports TPP.

The only legitimate candidate is Dr. Jill Stein

>DUDE WEED!!!!

1) Supports TPP
2) Supports open borders

There's more, but those two are enough to make me look elsewhere.

>Supports TTP
>Called Hillary a good statesman
>Thinks socialism can work on a voluntary basis within a libertarian society
>Open borders

(((Jill Stein)))

If you're not voting for Hillary you just need to grow and and realize that being an adult is picking the candidate with the most practical skills and experience in the system.

>b-but hurdur emails
That literally doesn't matter. Hillary was always going to be the nominee because she is the most qualified for the job.

I'm now a #ShillForHill!!

Thank you for correcting the record!!

>$0.15 has been deposited to your account!

These.

She was always going to be the nominee because our elections are rigged. Also, having experience is only relevant when you've done good things during that experience. If you've done a whole lot of terrible shit during that experience, don't expect experience to count in your favor. I'd rather have a CEO who's never been a CEO before than a CEO who's tanked every company he's belonged to, for instance.

I disagree with his views so I wouldn't vote for him. He's not going to win, but I don't consider people voting for him a "waste" because I don't consider people are voting for this guy to win I consider that they're voting to make a non-mainstream party become more popular and reduce the strength of those two mainstream parties.

>implying the votes will be counted accurately

To paraphrase Plato, no one who wants to be a leader very badly should be allowed to be one.

exactly

Vote your conscience.

>Clinton
>Sorta pro-secured borders
Her convention was basically encouraging illegal immigration.

>Don't post retarded shit give me a good reason why you like or dislike him.

He's against foreign wars, against the NSA, wants smaller government, has vowed to fight corruption and audit the federal reserve, he wants less spending, and wants to legalize cannabis.

What's not to like?

>think he has a chance?

Too early to say. He needs to get 15% in national polls to get in the Presidential debate and he's currently at 13%. If he can get into the debate and the general public saw that they have a legit alternative to Hillary or Trump then his campaign could take off and he could actually win. Or he could miss the debates or bomb in them and end up getting under 10% of the vote. Way to early to call.

He's better than Clinton or Trump. I am generally on the left economically, but he's a compromise I can live with. He seems virtually incorruptible.

I think he has a better chance than the libertarian candidate does in most years, but still a near-0% chance of getting elected. The best he could possibly hope for is to win a single state.

The greatest effect he could have on the election would be to (1) poll at 15% or higher so he gets into the debates; and/or (2) to steal votes from Trump. That being said, Jill Stein (Green Party) is going to be stealing votes from Hillary Clinton on the left at the same time.

As for Johnson himself, I know very little about him. This will also be true of the country as a whole. The most I've learned about him was from Rachel Maddow & NPR, the latter of which interviewed him a month or two ago.

As for libertarianism, in general, I consider myself to be a libertarian-ish, socialist-ish Democrat/Green. IMO, pure Libertarianism is similar to pure Communism in that it can't actually be implemented by real human beings. I totally support personal autonomy, but I think too many Libertarians fail to understand that they need society and society needs them on some level.

He said Clinton did nothing wrong after the FBI Jim "The Bitch" Comey didn't recommend to indict. I registered as Republican after that. Fuck that wonder bread traitor.

> did nothing wrong
> did nothing illegal

Pretty big gap there

I don't care for him, I feel like more liberty would be bad for america. Our liberty culture is somewhat toxic, it's time for some collective good over individual freedom

>What does Sup Forums think of Gary Johnson?

He looks like a cuck.

I pretty much agree with you 100%

Which is why I was in favor of Sanders. Since the primaries were rigged and I'm sure he was threatened by Clinton somehow in a private meeting/room and reinforced by Obama I'll be voting Jill Stein.

>3+ million provisional ballots in California not counted
>The real scam in primaries, not fucking emails

Well, looks like is is decided trump doesn't get a cuck of a chance
Turn on CNN!!!

> A year long FBI investigation nearing completion
> Almost ready to nail the coffin in Clinton bitches coffin
> Bill Clinton has secret meeting with Comey boss AG that is exposed
> Same week Comey says investigation over no charges
> Comey rails Clinton over and over for reckless careless bitch shouldn't even have clearance and lied over and over
> Bill and AG meeting was simply to discuss golf and grandkids
> tfw coincidence

>Thinks socialism can work on a voluntary basis within a libertarian society
What's wrong with that? A free market means you're free to share shit altruistically if it turns your crank.

He's got zero chance of winning, but since I'm in a blue state anyways, I'm probably gonna vote for gary as a vote of no confidence for the major parties.

That, and a good show for the libertarians would put them on more state's ballots, and in a perfect world, nudge one or both parties to court the libertarians as a voting block.
