Why would it be fake? There are so many muslims right now that are very confused and don't want to be part of this shit. well, at least that's what my family (only my parents and brothers) are very respectful to each other. maybe that's because my parents are very chill about this. they respected my choice (I'm pretty sure many won't though)

The REAL reason I left was because I always get discrimated when I'm around religious people and they talk about religious crap and then I'm a person who kinda talks alot and tells people directly in the face what I'm thinking. so whenever I tell them something like "What if the Quran didn't come from god but just got written by people) and they are saying stuff like I'm a lost person and that I will be fucked up when I die. if they don't accept me as who I am then why the fuck should I accept them? It's very weird.

I'm also someone who thinks alot and I have kind of high IQ and like thinking about how everything got created and stuff. I didn't believe in GOD, something that created all.

There are so many stuff that I don't believe in the quran or bible like Adam and Eve and stuff, and that makes me automatically not a part of the religion because if we listen to them I HAVE to beleive that people are made from mud and the whole adam/eve story etc

I did it very slowly. Like asking weird questions and play with the minds of my parents. and after a serious discussions with my uncle (my father didn't like how he speaked to me about my thoughts on religion) I said to my parents, I'm done with this. I don't believe in some parts of the quran and thus am not 100% muslim. I'm cutting the shit with this crap.

I hate to say this but people find me intimidating sometimes of how I say stuff directly in people's faces and they get confused and don't know what the fuck they should do). this helps me telling people what I think and having them shut up and suck it (I hope this is not the case with my parents)

on the other hand, my parents are very loose and especially my father. I also go out with him sometimes and drink alcohol till we almost pass out lol.

I think the main reason for this is that my father used to lead a mosque when he was younger and he even started a soccer team and then those guys in the mosque told him he steals money etc. and almost gave him the thief label. he also got beat up while learning the quran and stuff by the imams (talking about 30 years in the past)
