Basically I'm a 22 year old virgin and a complete loser. My entire life has been spent alone in my bedroom gaming. So I've recently decided to change and started with diet and exercise.

I'm eating fine, a lot healthier than I was previously but the problem is exercising. I literally can't even benchpress 20kg without my arms shaking and feeling tired as fuck. I can only do 2 real pushups before feeling tired and so on.

So Sup Forums how the fuck do I get in shape if I literally can't do anything at all? It's been a week since I started and it's demotivating as fuck and I'm trying my best not to give up even though I feel even more pathetic than when I started.

Do as many pushups as you can. Once you reach the point of exhaustion (even after 2), drop to your knees and do as many girly style pushups as you can. This will help you increase. Stick with it and you will notice that the number you can do will increase daily.

Look up a beginners plan on bodybuilding.com or something. Do the most weight you can handle to meet your rep range. Throw cardio on there and eat right. Try Jim Stapponi or Kris Gretin. Start small and you will feeling great ehen you can increase the weight. The Body reacts pretty fast any you will see first progression within 2 weeks. Also with cardio you can start small go walking 30 min a day later jogging or by bike also swimming is very good for starting with. The more you progress the more you will be motivated.

Situps etc won't get you in shape.

Yeah like these guys already said... Just do the girly pushups until you can get to 20, then try the manly ones. Do some crunches. Sit-ups might not be the best idea, it can be bad for your back. Get a set of adjustable dumbbells ... you know with the handles and separate weights (they're pretty cheap). Then you can do some things in your room and not be embarrassed about curling five pounds. Walking is also a good cardio substitute for a fatass beginner. Everything gets easier when you start losing some weight.

Do something fun for workout, go to a grappling class or such. I personally recommend Capoeira Angola for people with a bit more body fat. Cheers.

Then just keeping doing two in reps, do two, go do something for a half hour, do another two, sooner or later you'll be able to to 3, 4, 5 and even shorten the time between reps, you have all the time up until you become a wizard at 30 so even at an extremely slow rate you'd eventually get kinda buff.

Walk for an hour each day OP. TRUST ME. You also don't want to run or jog because that fucks up your knees and you burn the same amount of calories in the same distance if you run or walk. So do your knees a favor and walk. Also drink water. Force yourself to drink a couple 24 oz water bottles a day. After a while you won;t even think twice about choosing water over other things. You will sub-consciously crave it once you drank enough each day for a decent period of time. Alos buy yourself a Nutri-bullet or blender and blend. I like to blend:
1 Apple
1 Banana
1 TBS of flax seed
and like 1 1/2 cups of kale and/or spinach.
You won't even be able to taste the kale/spinach trust me. Also start with like 10 pound dumb bells and lift the same number of reps each arm. Start with a low amount of reps and go up every few days or week. It's a slow process, not that slow, but you can do it nig.

And just fyi, a year ago, I set a goal for myself to be able to do a set of 100 pushups. I started out being able to do 20. I did 5 sets of 20 per day. Everyday, I tried to make those 20 the best 20 damn pushups I'd ever done. After a few weeks, I did 4 sets of 25. I kept at it by slowly pushing my limits, and I hit my goal in August of that year. Definitely didn't happen overnight, and it wasn't easy.

Buy a pair of push-up bars and set them by the door that you use most when leaving your room. Every time you pass by them, do 2, or 3, or 5. Pretty soon it'll be 10, then whatever number you like. Also, a cheap set of dumbbells even just like a 5kg and 10kg to do curls and shoulder presses with will get you started.

1. Jumping rope is your friend. Do it
2. If you're fat, it's easier to turn that into muscle than just lose it. So do it

At the end of the day you will receive no appreciation for all the work you have done if you're sole purpose is to become more attractive. yeah if i had issue with the rest i would have raised it, just putting a bro science issue to bed for this thread.

Start by walking at least 2 to 3 miles a day. After around 2 or 3 weeks as long as you don't eat over your recommended calories a day and limit sugar and carbs to a bare minimum your metabolism will pretty drastically change.

At this point I'd recommend low weight high rep workouts for the next month on top of the walking but you can now do the walking 3 times a week or more instead of everyday. With the reps try to stick to weights that you can do 5 sets of 20 reps. Make sure you focus on not hurting yourself or pushing so hard you burn out. You can find plenty of good lift exercises online so I won't list them here.

After the 1 and half or 2 months is up you will see considerable change in your body and you'll feel like you have more energy with less food.

Good luck and just remember if your physically active 2 hours a day and keep a healthy diet your body and mind will feel massively better than being simply stagnant.
