The main thing I didn't like was how they shoehorned his baldness in. Like did they need a supernatural reason for an old man to be bald?

Also, does this imply all the events of this movie happened in the other timelines as well? Because he was bald in that one too.

I liked it quite a bit. Apocalypse was a great villain but they really dropped the ball with Angel and Storm, both of them pretty much useless for the entire movie.

Apocalypse was bland and forgettable
is spot on

they could've handled the soft reboot more elegantly. if you watch first class back to back with original trilogy, nothing makes sense. also jlaw.

origins wasn't a masterpiece but at least fit the whole saga and was enjoyable.

>10 years have passed

>still living in his mom's basement playing arcade games

Am i supposed to believe he didn't use his powers to achieve anything in 10 years?

this poster just pisses me off whenever i see Jlaw not in a blue makeup

I disagree with it being bland and forgettable, there were a lot of great scenes that are memorable for me. The scene with magneto and his daughter for example. My main problem is with the four horsemen, other than Magneto they were pretty boring and didn't do anything.

this.

To make it too much like a comic book was a mistake. It doesnt fit the rest of the franchise. Its like a more shallow version of Singer's twink men. I liked it, but you can feel the worthless pandering to the muh comic books crowd and the mcu fans.

The movie x-men had their own brand of drama, comedy and superheroics. This was Singer trying to be someone he isn't.

Better than Civil War in comedy, creative use of super power and character management, but slightly less focused. Both are decent.
