I was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder (multiple personality disorder) by a psychiatrist, AMA
Do you feel special op?
And what, do you want a prize?
Yes
sauce?
No clue, just googled it
are you really who you say you are?
Are you all cunts?
I think so?
AMA has been proven by APA that we can no longer diagnose this disorder because of poorly done research, unreliable evidence in current events, and no patients that have held up long term, among other reasons. Psychologist fag here, OP is a lying cunt who wants attention.
No most of us are
We don't give a shit about your personal problems.
How the fuck can anyone get off to this pic when Randy Orton is staring them down?
Well no shit. Anyone that isn't a retard knows DID is not real.
How is Tyler Durden these days?
Well i was diagnosed some time ago, and DID is certainly real, as is ADD, both though, are fluid in concept, they cover a wide spread of symptoms otherwise not diagnosable
You must be new at your job.
How's life like with it?
It's not hard to be diagnosed, you probably just need to suck it up and do the things the don't want to do that you know you should do bit pretend to get so anxious about it you flip out and do random ass shit throwing fits to distract people from what it is you are supposed to be doing. You're not two people, you are one. Don't be such a normie user, it's unbecoming.
Depends, when im alone i can drop all the faces, which is nice. But when with other people all the faces try to come up top which is extremely chaotic and unpleasant
Well i am one person, i just have multiple faces for multiple occasions, no matter what face the core remains
And i dont get anxious often, that only happens when it all seems fake
what happened to you to cause it?
The inability to filter thoughts at a young age, this put me under so much stress it forced my mind to cope with it by distancing myself from reality
You both hurt me dearly. Don't belittle the plight of others just because you have a different perception.
You both have no proof.

The DSM-V wouldn't still have the diagnosis if we weren't meant to use it and we wouldn't have a brand new ICD-10 code F44.81 if we weren't meant to use it.
>a wide spread of symptoms otherwise not diagnosable
No we could diagnose people just fine they just decided to add spectrum disorders because of certain illnesses like autism.
Psychiatrists, Psychologists and some therapists are all trained to analyze human behavior to be able to discern the true nature of someone.
A lot goes into such as body language, tone, wording of answers (ex:do they sound rehearsed) etc.
It's harder to diagnose than you think.
>Bachelors of Science in Developmental Psychology
>WSU 2014
>No job
>Nothing better to do than call out your shit.
So OP when did you realize you were different?
Not diagnosed but i suffer from dissiociative personality disorder.
Life is pretty good, though. Nr1 does all the stuff i sit back and watch.
but what you have to realize is that everyone is like that and aren't bothered with the differences between them. you may also have sides of you that you don't enjoy and want to feel apart from, but that's the root cause of the disorder.
At 15 when i started seeing a psychiatrist due to chronic insomnia
Believe me when i tell you im not like everyone else
I killed my cat because some part of me thought i couldnt
I feel you there. A lot of parents take their teenagers to psychiatrists in order to figure them out and try to nip problems in the bud.
Unfortunately most reject treatment and it ends up being a waste of time and money.
Have you been taking to therapy nicely or are you fighting it?
I try to be honest, but ive always lied(sort of) to everyone, so its hard but kindof refreshing
Sounds horrible man. Is it something that can be fixed in your position? Do you feel motivation to try to, I guess cure yourself of DID?
I could try but im comfortable where i am now and dont want to risk making things worse
what would be the best thing that a partner of someone with DID can do to alleviate the voices?
>All these armchair psychiatrists saying DID isn't real
I bet most people who replied this thread don't even know what it entails
...
are these some of your personalities?
I guess it depends on the person, but i would say not pressuring the person, distract him/her by talking or doing things together, but when they seem stressed or anxious just let them be for a while
What?
That's awesome user honesty will get you far. They're there to help you and nothing you say will be too dark for them. Patient confidentiality is very important to a psych.
People need to be able to speak freely and openly.
Are you on any kinds of medication yet?
>Ex: Risperadone, Xanax, Diazepam, etc.
No i dont touch benzos or things of the sort since im prone to substance abuse
your other personalities think that DID isn't real
Topkek
That wasnt me
what do you think about starting your day with a positive visual affirmation? like looking at yourself in the morning and imagining yourself tonight when you got all that work done and feel great about it.
You're worse attention whore than OP, kill yourself you entitled little faggot
Well i wouldnt look in the mirror since its disturbing not recognizing myself
And it wouldnt matter since i would know deep down that im lying to myself
That whore in the pic is so fucking dumb, she got a tattoo that said "Woman" in Arabic, and it is not properly written.
It should be more like إمرأة
Not إم رأة
You really should give medication a try if you're struggling. It can really help but usually you have to dial in what works for you and give it time to work.
Have you been to rehab for substance abuse?
those tattaoos better be goddamn fake.
Ill try them
No havent been to rehab because i wasnt addicted (pluspoint of DID) and just stopped at one point
Spotted the kebab
Bump
