Non-anglos don't call their fathers "sir"

>non-anglos don't call their fathers "sir"

Show some fucking respect

I find the concept of generally saying 'sir' really weird. I don't want the Starbucks guy to treat me like I'm his master.

Think of it like "user-san".

More like user-sama

too formal

I just call my dad by his first name kek

>Australians don't call their father "my liege"
You call yourselves Anglo?

>father
what's that

this
>not having good relationships with your parents
>must talking to him "sir"
kek

Show some fucking respect

I call mine Daddy

Very unsettling

I call my father "jefe" (boss) when i'm in the bantz with him, otherwise papi.

Only yanks say "sir" 2bh
good bait tho

I know Auslards are a lot less formal than Amerifats, and the idea of an Ausfat showing any respect is laughable.

I don't have a father, but I call my master daddy sometimes

Last time i checked My dad wasn't knighted, Sir isn't appropriate then.

this is actually retarded

Then why do so many americups call their dad's sir? Only heard of this happening over there tbdesu

Why? I think it's normal

I call my father as Hadji (literally the pilgrim) because he visited Mecca.

>Not calling your dad Oyaji

Baka gaijin honto desu

I hope only as a cute joke and not a serious sign of respect.

Respect for what?
What does he deserve the fucking respect for?
Fucking my mom and heading out the door right after.?
Yeah, thanks dad. Or should I say sir?
Huh, what's that? You don't like how I turned out? You think I'm a sissy?
What a little coinkydink! WHOSE FAULT DO YOU THINK THAT IS SIR

You're like a son to me quite honestly

wot

Wow lad. Take it easy

exactly this
>respect is defined by a meaningless title
kek
>>>/19th century Britain/

r u a grill?

We call 'em BATYA

>be me
>grew up deep south
Basically everyone either older than me or more important than me is a sir

Wew thqhfam that got dark very fast

Thats because they only use it to call their 'daddies' like that.

as a cute joke, m8.

Yes.

I won't show my tits though

Sir is basically just a formal way to address a man here, The only people i call sir are dudes i don't know desu

By the way, what do Germans call their parents? Mutti and Batting?

...

Who invited Tyler, The Creator?

*Vatti

Auto correct

Mama and Papa

Show yer Pa respect, boi

Oh, okay. Why is Merkel called "Mutti"and not "Mama"

This but mom too at times

>people who call their parents by their first name
>people who call their profs and teachers by first name
>people call you by family name despite you being coworkers/schoolm8

Mutti is a bit more old fashioned I think and it also can be used sarcastically like some wuss running back to mutti
Mutti and Vatti could also be used by some girl trying to sound cute and shit, but it would seem somewhat obnoxious

I just call them mom and dad

some family names sound better/shorter/more fun than regular names

oh and when you refer to your parents you say Mutter and Vater, because calling them mama and papa in conversation with others is rather childish

t. autist sperglord.

You're a pussy with a weak character if you dont move to talking to them by name right away after you know it.

I just say "dad" I call strangers and teachers "sir" or "miss".

>anglos call their dads "sir"
>but let them die alone in nursing homes
really makes you think

Yakshemash

>americans are so disabled that they slur their words
>mom instead of mum

I call mine Moomin Papa and Moomin Mama

>satirical show about anglo stupidity and ignorance
really fired up my neurons

...

You obviously never saw the old Ali G show from Britain. Its about confronting people to make them feel awkward not Anglo ignorance

Also
>Americans
>Anglos

I call my father "father".

He hates it because he thinks it's too formal, fucking boomer libcucks

I call him (You).

Many young people say "mom" and "dad" just like in English. They probably believe it makes the languague more modern or diverse or something.

teachers before highshool ; Mr and Miss/Mrs X
Teachers im highschool, sir/miss
i think this is pretty Ausfag core

>that feel when a black person calls you "boss"
Are they just fucking with me?

I like to think of myself as a Moomin

...

It's just a saying mate, we have it here too

Don't be so insecure x

Teachers in private school: Mr/Mrs X
Teachers in public school: First name or oi cunt

I like to think of myself as a cartoon attack helicopter

Knights are addressed as Ser you fucking Yank

I call mine by his nickname and my mum by her first name

>non-russians don't call their fathers "BATYA"

>someone calls you big guy

This is the angloest thing i've ever read

>mfw albanians call teachers professor in high school

He should have called you Sue

Parents pappa and mamma
Teachers by first name
Some co-workers by last name or nicknames

...

My dad... no. It is either dad or father.

I only use sir in a professional setting or when I'm speaking to an male that is considerably older than me that I don't really know.

Same with using mister. Friend's fathers, professional settings, older males that have not invited me to use their first name.

How about calling your father "dad" as any normal person in any normal nation would. He is not a stranger that calling him sir would be a sign of respect. Affection and belonging is more important than mere respect.
