Happy for some. Sad for others.

bump

dany will die, tyrion will die, jamie will die

brandon arya jon cersei and walder frey (with no descendents) will live, this is certain

George said it'll be bittersweet

It will be a bittersweet ending, george confirmed it.
Peace will be achieved, one way or another, but characters will die or end up unhappy, and the realm will be certainly destroyed and divided.
Either that, or D&D will throw Georges intentions into the trash, what wouldn't be a surprise.

They are literally in a giant terrarium.

>big battle happens
>bad guys die
>good guys reunion after the battle
>intro song starts playing
>"we are game of thrones"
>cut to black and roll credits

What ending?

Daenerys, Jon, and Tyrion will all learn that their mother's name's are Martha. This realization will allow them to turn into a Voltron 3 headed dragon named Aloha Hai. Then their watch will end when they ride the Dawn Treader into Botany Bay.

It will be super dark, but meaningful because they'll be in sailor suits wielding katanas.

Tyrion will quip one last time, and then it'll cut to black suddenly.

t. I know a friend who has works on the show

Someone tell me the appeal of this show. I watched the first two episodes and it was literally the same as any other softcore porn on late night HBO with slightly better actors. It's lord of the rings minus everything cool about lord of the rings like orcs and mystical creatures and shit. The only two dudes I liked were Sean bean and the fat king and I know they die early on so who cares

This. Shown went dramatically downhill after season one

Jon rejecting Daenerys for marriage after defeating WW.

Then Daenerys attacks Jon with her dragon/army. Jon fights back with his army. It ends with them running at each other smiling.

well, like most good shows you stick around for the characters and early got had some good characterization. If you wanted more fantasy im sure you would enjoy the newer episodes since magic and bs becomes more prevalent.

this was legit hilarious. bravo

I don't care for magic so much as creatures. I know there's those ice dudes and dragons, anything else? I just don't really care about man on man warfare; its been done to death.

Not really, there's stone men in one scene, a couple shadow babies, magical children who can see into the future and through trees.

That's about it

>I just don't really care about man on man warfare; its been done to death.
So has conversation, do you want a movie without dialogue?

This. In a year or two the show will go full 'lost' with weekly episodes of filler and the story will turn into trash as they attempt to drag out the profits as long as possible.

That's not exactly the same thing, but yes that would actually be a challenge and something original. Cavemen show when?

Game of Thrones, season 8 episode 10:

>Before departing to the Tower of the Hand for a good night's sleep, Tyrion turns around and looks at the royal couple, her grace Queen Daenerys and Prince consort Jon Stark, and says, "truly, it was a song of ice and fire"
>"more like a Game of Thrones", says Varys who had been hiding in the shadows until then
>both laugh
>Varys turns to the damera and winks
>Tyrion resumes his walk and begins whistling the Rains of Castamere as the credits fade-in
>and who

Nope, only 13 episodes after this season

>Then their watch will end when they ride the Dawn Treader into Botany Bay.
This was my favorite part from the books. Jawn is the reel deel.

It will be extremely epic

...

In terms of creatures theres like poisonious ones that assassins use, infected stonemen (that act like zombies) and I cant think of much else atm. Tbh though idk what you mean the whole man on man warfare being too overdone in a fantasy setting. If there were no action, then nothing would get done and you could never see a character progress and either fail or succeed so I personally this isnt for you then. In terms of the man to man combat early on engagement was rare and they usually save it for the last couple episodes of the seasons to act as climax's so again I saw no issue there.

>I do not watch the show, but memetic hate makes me look cool right?

You keep telling yourself that bud. We all know that it'll be bold and the beautiful soon enough.

HBO have been begging for 10 series, but D&D will only go as far as 8, or pretty much 7 1/2.

Bran will find out he is being used by the CotF, will kill himself with Dany's Dragons. Dany will die in the struggle. So will Jon, ultimately. Some upjumped faggot from an unimportant house will end up claiming the Iron Throne after winter is done and the Walkers are vanquished.

>Tyrion turns around and looks at the royal couple, her grace Queen Daenerys and Prince consort Jon Stark, and says, "truly, it was a song of ice and fire"
>"more like a Game of Thrones", says Varys who had been hiding in the shadows until then
>both laugh

A light cover of ash or snow all over a vast graveyard.

I don't think the Whitewalkers can really be defeated.

They'll become friends with Jon.

>a game of musical thrones

can you explain a bit more?

3deep5u

u are not ready fro the kino

Jon throws The One Ring into Mt. Doom

Its confirmed to have a bitter sweet ending, take that as you will

That means literally nothing

>all the characters converge on the sept
>everyone of all houses and allegiances saying kind words to the departed
>some wise character will give a speech about how the war for the Iron Throne and the battle against the White Walkers may never end
>camera switches to the roof where it slowly zooms in on the deceased
>revealed to be GRRM himself who died before finishing the next book
>show ends
>GoT somehow still renewed for another season
>D&D literally air pitch black for an hour a week
>highest ever views and ratings
>fanboys praise the new season for it's new avant-garde direction
>tumblr still finds a scene to get triggered at

White Walkers are deafeated but they make it all the way to the Kings Landing. Humanity is set back a a few hundred years beacause of unending winter. Wildlings that Jon let in will grow to eventually replace them and rebuild society, since they are best fit for survival in such an enviroment.

Dabid?

Same feelings for me until I binge watched the show. It's a slow start.

Shut your mouth you fucking faggit

No one cares how the show will ends. Real Game of Thrones will end with the three heads of the dragon, Dany, Jon Snow, and Tyrion (Jon and Tyrion are born from Tygarean's cucking the other great houses), riding into battle on the three dragons and burning the ice god's minions. But it turns out that the fire god is the real evil.

R'hllor hungers

They all die apart from the fat guy with the baby. He gets his own show titled.. "boring fat guy and a baby".

It is known.

With the patriarchy thoroughly smashed

Neither. GRRM said it would be bittersweet.

So i imagine overall humanity will be saved but i doubt all the currently alive characters make it through.

I just hope Ayra lives but i expect at least 1 more stark to die before it is all said and done.

Arya will live but she won't be a Stark. She'll give up her identity to be a Faceless Man. When she comes back to Westeros, he own wolf won't recognize her as a Stark. He brothers and sister will never know she lived.

...

Why is HBO trying to do this? There is no way the story is not more than half over. Personally I think 8 full seasons will wrap it up nicely but D&D are thinking sooner.

Here is how i see it

season 6 - end the religious BS, sort out the north entirely (Starks, Boltons and Greyjoys) and also set up Dorne and have Dany finally set sail to Westeros after getting her shit all set.

season 7 - Dorne, The Vail, The Lannisters and Starks and Dany all play the game of thrones so to speak and Castle Black finally is overrun by the Army of the Dead and they seep into the north killing at taking over everything

season 8 - all about everyone fighting the white walkers and slowly losing until a last stand fight and some kind of sacrifice wins it for the humans.

season 7 -

Dumb dragon bitch will "save" the world with le feminism and girl power, and the final shot will be her sitting in the iron throne with a dumb "I'm acting" look on her face while dramatic music plays

No one she gives up being Arya Stark. I just don't see that. Too Willful and too much of an individual.

Personally I would not be surprised if at the end of this season she kills the faceless men who taught her (really it is just 2 it seems) and leaves.

Lightbringer means Satan in most languages.

Has the Long Winter even arrived in the series?

It's still pretty warm and bright in King's Landing

You mean "Lucifer" means Lightbringer in some languages

That's hot George, thanks for the summary.

This.

George already said the ending will be bittersweet.

The book series will be bittersweet which means that some characters will have happy endings, some will be dead or worse off, and overall things will probably be a bit hopeful but with the current state of affairs far from ideal. I foresee some characters being in positions they didn't want to and dealing with it, while others will have to deal with responsibility they never asked for. The typical sort of ending.

With the TV series' track record, though, I imagine they'll try to make it a bit darker so it's more memorable. Probably the cast will continue to be rounded off so they can more easily collapse plotlines into each other, and likely at least one major character will get royally fucked.

Since D&D took over, Dany and Jon will team up against the evil ice zombies and create the Song of Ice (Jon) and Fire (Dany). Pottery.

I'm really hoping for bad end, to me it doesn't make any sense to have it end with any sort of satisfying, happy conclusion. Goes against what GRRM has been doing with subverting expectations in the Fantasy genre

my prediction

>Jon Snow tries to convince King's Landing to unite the kingdoms and fight white walkers
>Daenerys invades Westeros, starts laying waste to the south
>Kings Landing wages war on two fronts against Daenerys and Jon
>In the midst of all this White Walkers find magic horn, bring down wall
>in a matter of a week, traverse entirety of Westeros and kill everything
>no survivors, Jon gets into climatic battle with Ice King only to get immediately wrecked
>civilization ends

anything less feels like a copout. The whole thing is a moral tale about the dangers of not working together to find the greater evil, the failure of the social contract.

brainwashed Arya killing either Jon or Sansa then

Mostly sad. Dany and Jon will inspire fanatic religious devotion. The result will be a massive war that kills most of Planetos' population.

...

Arya will use the Force to clean up Hell's Kitchen in time for Dr. Fate to defeat the Fire God Loki.

>social contract
You don't know what that means, do you?

I still have no idea where Arya's plotline is going or what her endgame is for the rest of the world.

This will happen.
Imagine the massive shitstorm they'd invoke over themselves if godforbid MUH KARLEESEE STRONKWUMYN gets killed off. You can't do something like that in todays leftist-poisoned world.
